Thukerin' Thukertath!

I'd definitely go with that one, alterego.
Since no one except Liberty knows the layout of the whole manor, I think it's best to cloud the building.
It also adds more mystery and creepiness!

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?

Touhou: Ten Desires.
Starting to get used to some difficulty and might actually beat the final boss soon.

Guess that game!

Muramasa: The Demon Blade?
Never played it. Only saw a few videos about it.
That is correct! Your turn.
(You should play it. Tt's awsome!)

Guess that game!

Alright, try to crack this one:
With a huge(strangely shared) inventory of swords, the tale is told of two characters that slay demons as they are trying to undo their past.

Guess that game!

Touhou: Embodiment of Scarlet Devil?

I think it's used in more of the games, but that's the first I thought of.

Boss Battle Design Contest - Knowledge is Power

In the context of "Knowledge is power", I think that it would be related to optimizing your party before the boss encounter itself, like selecting the right elemental equipment for preparation. Otherwise you might have to design an in-battle equipment menu.

Player's imagination in RPGs

Another thing I find funny is that if a refreshing visit to an inn or use of a tent takes one night, then games where you face a timeline(like ominous 7-day Meteor of FFVII) would have a few problems with real life since there's no actual timeline. You could probably even add 168 hours to the game timer without problem.

And if there's an actual countdown on the screen, it won't matter if you get away with lots of time left, you're ALWAYS CLOSE.

One year passes...

I'm always glad if I manage to inspire people! Most feedback I got was only the first few months. Funny how more than half of the fixes now I discovered myself. At least the download count reassures me that people are still interested.

If you wrote your engine from ground up, then kudos to you.
I can check it out if it ain't too much hassle.

Maybe add some sort of transparency to the chandelier might enhance the impression.

It would be funny if the shark he's standing on would randomly flail to catch him, but he just shakes off its attempts.
But that sounds like some troublesome extra coding though.
