Real-World Settings
The World Ends with You is a real world setting, this being Tokyo's Shibuya. Locations there are taken from real life as well.
The difference is that it takes place on another dimensional plane and that all locations are renamed.
They take real life, change it enough and the setting still works.

RPG 2k3 message problems
The text editing window shows more than you really should be able to write on each line before you need a line break. It would've been better if default rm2k3 had some mark that signifies where the end of the box goes(with or without faceset). I know there should be a patch for it out there somewhere. Otherwise there's always RMText to help you out.
The easiest thing to do is to get used to where the text starts getting left out and jump to a new line from there.

Let's Try with LockeZ
All right! I'm glad you've picked it up again. I hope poor directions as indicated in the LT won't discourage you...
The Alert-mechanics are not quite clearly explained in-game. I cover them better on the game's page under GamePlay.
You can cancel alert in 2-3 ways. Either let the Evasion cancel it out or exit the area without any soldiers around. The third way is to make a safe-area transition that usually happens at specific places.
About the slow-down or whatever happens your speed. Use the 9-button to correct any speed/phasing-glitches. I've introduced it in one of my blog posts, but it seems it needs to get explained in-game.
About the guard in the cottage. Touching sleeping soldier will wake them up.
And the forest is said to be located north-west of your location, not necessarily the direction you should go. This can be a bit misleading.
The shooting mini-game I guess the target score should be more clear. Chaos Mode with handgun was 70 or 75. I've changed it numerous times for adjusting, so I don't quite remember what it was. But you do get a reward there. Funny with the speed-up there though!
The forest is illusive! You have to look around carefully for where to find a way. And it's not a one-way. You just missed one safe bush blocking the path.
But I'm astounded by your ability to trigger glitches. Haven't heard of anyone finding these many.
However, it seems most speed/phasing-glitches occur due to swinging the knife at bad timing may disrupt the events' process(like getting into the swamp there). If you want to avoid this (apparently common) glitch, try to keep to knife down. I've tried to counter this on many places, but it seems even more common than ever.

Return of the YDS LT
Achievements, GOGOGO
Achievement for attracting a certain number of subscribers+ perhaps?
Of course this can also be manipulated, but I wonder who'd be even THAT desperate.

What's up with the damn profanity?
What about symbol swearing? It adds a cartoonish swear-effect to the small adorable sprites.

Emo Require: Do RPGs need a story?
The closest I can think of a concept without story would be something like a quest-based, open world. Self-preservation can't be a plot, can it?

Förrutom om de är omogna förstås. Då är de väl gröna."
More or less, but damn, I can't figure out that one word either way.

Metal Gear Solid: Lunacy of Legion
author=Master_Miller- You've got to hold the X-button until you hear a "click" to charge Stealth Kills. Also, no effect in Alert mode. It's a "Stealth" kill after all.
2) It says I've got to press long enough attack button (x). So I'm doing. No effect.
Thanks for help ;) I wish you will make 2nd one with improved engine (wall sticking, more ways to get rid off alarm, radar).

One more thing: the first boss battle (ninja squad) was pissing me off. 22th time I made it with no health loss O.o
As soon as I complete your game I'm gonna make a review ;) The note will be high enough, cuz I'm Metal Gear series fan :)
- I don't think I'm going to do such an extensive change to the whole system, cause that is a whole lot of extra work almost from scratch.
I did fix some major flaws in the past, but as for now it seems the game would be holding up. Just fixing any potential bugs.
- That other game has impressive mechanics, but it seems even harder than mine and I don't understand a thing, which is sad.
- The first boss can either be hard or really easy depending on your approach. The easiest way is to stick to the walls and shoot down one by one.
- Good luck! The game is rather long actually and the later levels will be a challenge. Not to mention the extras that will probably pass by unnoticed...
