ARIEDONUS'S PROFILE

I have been fiddling with RPG Maker on and off for six or so years, and in becoming so accustomed to it, have been reluctant to learn to hard code anything. Despite that, I plan on going to school for Game Design, because I -love- making games (although I have yet to finish one, haha). I'm also pretty terrible at coming up with an interesting block of text about myself, so I am going to end this here! :D

Epic Monster Dungeon Explore! 2

I opened the actual project file on accident and started poking around. Is Leon supposed to get a random and huge boost to Spirit during his later levels or was that an accident?

ZELDA maker!! Similar to SMBX called Zelda Classic!

This has absolutely nothing to do with Site Feedback. :\

You can use the script to change tiles at any time and the program lets you switch tiles while editing so you can make it all look right.

Rpg maker VX

I am not disagreeing, just saying you're still under similar limitations. I'm pretty sure that program would help, as well as liberty's suggestion. :]

Submission Query

I find black text on white backgrounds to be incredibly interesting. :(

On a serious note, at the very least it will give potential players a sample of the writing, so they know it's not written by a kindergartner.

You will have to toy around with it, but there is no actual way to add something like F-Z. With this tool, you can switch out each chipset (A,B,C, etc.) anytime you need, but you won't be able to have a buttload of Es that you can use all at once, if that makes sense. That program/script opens up a lot of options, but just like Rm2k3 you won't be able to have a jillion tiles for one tileset.

ANY ONE WANT TO HELP OUT WITH AN ABS LOZ GAME

Topics like this are supposed to be in the Help & Requests forum and this will probably be moved there when someone on staff comes across it.

Anyway, Wolf is correct. We need a lot more details, because from what you currently have, it's hard for us to tell what you actually need help on. You could need help with graphics, coding the enemies, and a whole mess of other things based off what you've told us. It's really important for us to know the engine you are using to make the game too. Providing this information will increase your chances of receiving help and will allow us to help you better.

http://www.spriters-resource.com/

That website will help a lot when it comes to graphics, if that's what you are asking for. You will likely have to compile them in a format you can use, but at least you don't have to rip them yourself. :)

Great idea, I agree completely. I'll definitely implement it, considering how many sidequests the game has.

Puzzle1.png

Normally, I would agree with you, but the puzzle was actually a trap set up by bandits you encounter in the forest. Also, this particular forest is somewhat large and I wanted to mix it up a bit so it isn't just random encounters the whole way through. :]

I suggest centering the names of the characters, so it is more consistent with the options and with the alignment of the sprites. It's a little jarring, otherwise. Also, the Retreat icon is too close to the border, especially if you compare it to the Attack icon's position.

Overall, I really dig what you're going for here. Gives a new flare to the front-view, which is always nice.
