The Oracle of Tao Let's Try Episode 2 - More Fighting, Less Grinding!

Alchemy is basically an expert cheat. As in, if you figure it out, in terms of money, you've won the game. I might at least give Elias basic Alchemy skills, since he has none (and it's a chore to make some of them). Okay, next version I make has basic Alchemy spells without first making the Philosopher's Stone (that was the previous condition, meaning most people go through the game without ever casting Alchemy spells). Alchemy has alot of functions though like making healing items for free, and the aforementioned Alchemy spells.

In case you've never used them, they don't use MP as normal (well, some Alchemy skills do, but those are typically % spells). It instead adds to a stock (basically, a simple variable counter) whenever alchemy items are made, uses the stock when you cast Alchemy spells, and when you're out you can't cast again until you make more stuff. But currently, I think everything demands you make the P. Stone first.

I'm probably gonna watch this one first, because it's about grind and battles. Grind and battles tends to be where I suck.

===========================
(Gosh, your voice is...)

Hmmm, yea, I think I'll do something about that text. Maybe green on red instead of red on green? I think I nixed the idea of no save on world map and towns, with the update I'm gonna do after this. It's kinda funny watching you wander around talking to random people, and being like "no, I don't want that." Hmmm, yea, I forgot about Delphi's face. DOOOOM!!! You died, because you chose the wrong Oracle. Hmmm, I'm gonna make the back entrance work.

Let's Try Soul Shepherd, by LockeZ, Parts 1-5

This game kinda sucked.

The battles were entirely too hard (I died on the first battle too), and considering you're the summoner of these things, it could have been done a number of ways to make it much better. Such as, ending the game if you die. Such as, making the main character not a battler. Hell, I'm not totally thrilled with the default battle layout.

There's a difference between challenge and "challenge". A game is considered challenging if a monster can whittle you down to 2/3 before its defeat, or kill you if you're not paying attention. But this is just stupid. I noticed your second battle, you tried to use your healer to keep people alive and it died. That enemies are dealing 2/3 per turn (leading to that situation) is a mark of very poor balance.
