the arrows look fine imo. though they'd look best if they weren't static (e.g. if they bob up and down or something). of course for all i know they might already not be static, considering it's a still screenshot

oh god i love the shark sprite. well i kind of love all the sprites but the shark one in particular. it rules.

I also believe you shouldn't put your game's features and design tenets up for vote, you should develop a clear image of your goal and pursue it.

Shoutout as well to Links Awakening which was entirely insane *wanders into random cave, talks to an enormous dancing fish which teaches you a flute song that warps you to a pond where a ghost suddenly starts following you around* also sudden houses filled with bananas and crocodiles for no real reason but it lacked the.... 3D spacecharm...

Does a game's download size matters to you?
i don't give a shit at all because i have fast internet and a terabyte hard drive thanks to capitalism and white privilege, but yeah anything over 100mb in an rpg maker game is a little ridiculous just on principle. ofc presentation is a big factor; if your game has custom graphics and everything a big filesize typically becomes a lot more excusable (and then hopefully the game is actually good)
i guess ideally the game would be good regardless, though
what i'm saying is as long as you can justify your filesize it's probably reasonable! ("tons of sick ff7 mp3s" isn't a justification)
