Ahhh! Pointy noses! Pointy noses!

*thanks the stars that Dozen let me off with a perfunctory Katawa Shoujo reference*

Heh...I never knew you cared so much about moles, Dozen. ^^

(Full disclosure: My vision, corrected, is 20/200 in both eyes, which is right at the edge of what they call "legally blind". Uncorrected, I probably legitimately give moles a run for their money.)

(Further full disclosure upon editing: I can't even tell that the Noriko tachie HAS eyelashes, much less what color they are. It just looks like a dark smudge :-/ .)

which none of you moles noticed

In my case, I think you just insulted moles...

A-ha! Just figured it out! The point on the nose is part of the "Contoures" layer, which I removed from my image.

I didn't say you did anything, I just noted that I didn't know when it got in there :-D . But you're right: looking back at your original image post, it appears it's been there all along. However, if you compare that image:

to the image I uploaded a week or so ago:

...you'll note that your image has a little point at the end of its nose that mine does not. I'm not sure how you or I got that. I do notice that of the built-in tachie, only Miki's and Keika's have a nose like the original Noriko, while all the others have noses like your Noriko. Any ideas how this happened?

Oh, that's very good. Very VERY good. I believe we can call the eyebrow issue closed, officially. Also, loving the behind-the-back arms, officially.

Just two minor things. First, I think we need the crossed arms back on the "Friendly" and pose. Crossed-arms is DEFINITELY Noriko's default state, and there has to be at least one crossed-arms-plus-sly-smile pose. Perhaps that should be an OTHER2 tachie instead?

The other one is a bit more bothersome. When in the process did she acquire that little pointy nose? I'm not sure how I feel about that. It makes her look a little too...I was originally thinking "elfin" (not Elven, which would be even worse), but that's not quite right...rodent-like, maybe?

Update on Noriko from my end: I didn't do a new upload last night because I wanted to see if Dozen had had a chance to play her through. Work is slowing down, as I am once again becoming confident that the end is in sight, at least until Nipponlander II: The Dozening has been premiered. I do have two new events since last upload, plus other tweaks, so either way there will be a new upload tonight.

Hmmm...is this where we start doing the whole good-cop, bad-cop thing, and I slowly but surely become jaded over time until I eventually become the thing that I hate? Or is this the part where you become my first mate, all the time calling me the Dread Pirate Dozen, while I just start in with the pillaging?

I feel I have much to learn here.

ETA: Oh, and if you're still in charge 'n' stuff, what are the chances of noting that IDs 64 and 65 are in use somewhere semi-official?

Marrend is being good enough to help me with creating my custom tachie set for Noriko. For whatever reason, it's been very tricky to get the eyebrows right.

Hmmm...good, mostly. With these, I do think they'd look better without the "secondary eyebrow" bit in the "friendly", "like", "love", "lovesick" and "neutral" tachie. It actually looks good in the "surprise" and "unfriendly" ones, though -- more natural-looking, I guess you'd say - and I can't even see it in "dislike", so all good there. The "primary eyebrow" looks good now in every tachie except "neutral", which still looks uneven.

As for the behind-the-back pose, I like that as well. I just couldn't do it in GIMP because it would screw up how the uniform looked.
