I am an old school gamer who loves to create bazaar projects and I specialize in themes and game play.

I have also been running the Crappy Game Reviews for over 4 years now. My old channel was hacked by somebody I used to live with and the games were removed. I have a new channel now.

I love this idea because you get experience for searching/scavenging, which would be a key aspect to survival in a post-apocalyptic world.

Yeah, exactly. I figured why not let players have some fun searching all the things I have in this game. So much time wasted with very little things to actually get. Like what's a branch going to do for somebody after they are decked out in tire armor and swords? So, those branches that used to be worthless after a while now have a use by giving the player a notch on their Lucky 7 meter.

The exploration exp is a very cool idea, actually. I'll see what I can do after I get the Lucky 7 polished and good to go.

My hand is about to fall off! I'm getting close to being done with adding notch points for all areas of the game so far though. *wipes his forehead*

AFTERMATH VERSION 0.3 - Lucky 7 system announced!

I am still will working on getting this system fully working through the game and the 100's of places to search. I hope I can get 0.3 out to players by the 20th.

StarSkipping, go ahead and hold off on reviewing Aftermath 0.2 and Review 0.3 of Aftermath instead. This version of the game won't be out till sometime this month. I think it's best to hold up on reviewing the game because I have been working hard on custom graphics for the last few days and I also plan on adding a couple of other things that weren't in 0.1 or 0.2.

This is my best work yet. I took the other pics down for 0.3 or Chapter 1 because there were a lot of flaws in those tiles. These are much smoother. This is a very time consuming process that has taken me hours of work to get right.

Great improvement. If you can eliminate the tile-patterned look of the ground, it would look even better.

I like this font alot. I'm gonna look around and I might be able to find one that suits the post apocalyptic environment. I'll look around for ya.


I actually tried a lot of futuristic stuff and it looked like complete shit in the game for some reason. I just want it to be readable.
