Yep, that's precisely why froze my Facebook account and have resisted people's suggestion that I reactivate it. I would rather remain anonymous or under some alias ... which perhaps I will the day I create a Facebook fake identity.

Who gave you that line?
While a game might be fun and enjoyable, that doesn't automatically erase the issues the game might have right-out. 5 stars is 'perfect' in most judging, so unless a game is top-of-the-tier, (I believe) it shouldn't get that rating. (I'd even go so far as to say most of the games on the site that have 5 stars probably shouldn't. The whole 10 of them. And yes, that includes THaNoY.) That said, you can appeal by sending a PM to Solitayre in this case.
I agree with Libby regarding the 5 stars rating, which is why I'm very unlikely to give it to any game, but maybe that's just our standards. But it might happen, once in a full moon or when lightning strikes for the creme de la creme.

@edchuy: Check your user settings and the state of the "Send me an e-mail when I receive a new PM." checkbox. If it's enabled, that's why you got the e-mail. Otherwise, it's... a bug?
You're right! But then again, this is the first time I have ever gotten an e-mail when getting a PM, so maybe it wasn't working well before??? I'm probably going the same route as you, maybe ...

I got your PM, plus an e-mail notification from RMN for it (this is the first time I have gotten the latter! Is this some sort of undocumented feature?).
I have already decided the game I'll work on for my giftee. Now it's a matter of playing it and deciding what the actual gift will be. I hope to get my gift done by this weekend, since I have to buy real gifts and visit family, before traveling the next one and wouldn't probably get it done in time if I left it until then (yes, bad Santa!).
