My posts will be either 5-7-5 hiakus or short poetry pieces with some techniques including rhyme, alliteration and assonance (Do I still even have skills to write something decent? Also, beware of the obscure references I might allude to.)
Found this nifty Haiku Syllable Counter website to help me.
QUIET 1
It started to snow,
Flakes falling down silently,
All's peace and quiet.

Everything's quiet,
Weather out there's frightful;
Stuck indoors, not quite.
QUIET 3
No soul was stirring,
Never was a word spoken,
Now that IS quiet.

Another pair of freebie games ( Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands & Silent Hunter 5 for PC) with instructions of how to get them
I wanted to share with you guys a couple of freebies I found. The freebies in question are Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands & Silent Hunter 5 for PC. Follow the steps here to get them:
Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands & Silent Hunter 5
- Choose the link for either game in the link I have provided above. You'll get a new tab with a Gamestar page in German (I hope you really paid attention in HS or can use Google translate, although neither is required!).
- Click the large image in each page to get a pop-up window to get the key for the corresponding game and copy it.
- In the uplay website press the "Connection" button and create an account.
- Then press "Download Uplay" in the upper right to download and install the client.
- Get the Uplay client started and login with the account you just created.
- In the upper right corner of the window that opens, press the gear icon (to the left of the minimize button) and click the "Activate Product" option.
- Paste the key for the corresponding game to activate it.
- After that you should be able to download it to play.
- Enjoy!

All Hallows' Event 2013
I'm downloading the entries to play as we speak. I found that Kin's has been taken down, but supposedly it'll be supposedly re-released @ an unconfirmed time in the future. Thus, I'll keep it in my AHE playlist for now ...
Also, the link for the Limbus download page is dead and needs to be updated.

Welcome to RMN! So somebody actually bothers to read those tutorials that might have collecting dust and developing rust ... and appreciate the care put them into them!
Never heard of Spectrum ... Anyway, look forward to seeing what you come up with. I also have tried to starting gam making with RM VX Ace but life got in the way.

'Oops! Something went wrong, there is a good chance we know about it and are working on it!' is the most misleading statement on RMN.
