Seriously hating YT and google right now. Like, seriously. No, really.

There's no free meal these days ... there's always a catch to everything, it seems.

My Plan to Move Immediately Fell Through and I Would Appreciate Some Advice on How to Proceed

Thanks for the advice, Libby! So, I'm guessing you approve of my choice, but are saying that I should tread lightly about how I go about it, especially if I'm moving into somebody's turf. Just when you think you know somebody, bam! You get a surprise, either good or bad ...

I'll slowly go through my queue of people I know who I should ask for a place to stay, say, at least during the weekdays which accomplishes temporarily the objective I've set myself which is to recover time and save gas money otherwise wasted to driving.

Basically, I'm stuck with paying at least another month of the room I've been renting which is OK, since it is pretty cheap (costs me slightly more than reserving a parking spot in a lot). It doesn't necessarily mean I've to live here during the week. I can always come during the weekend and use it as a refuge of the hustle and bustle of the big city. Also, I noticed I'll be going away for the holidays in exactly 6 weeks, so if things don't get resolved in that time, I guess there's always next year ...

BTW, there's supposedly a room??/floor?? in the house next door to where I live available to rent. Could it possibly be the solution? I'll look into it.

Based on this musing, I will go today to visit an uncle to ask him if he won't mind me shacking up with him, aunt and cousin during the weekdays ... They're the closest I have living in town (speaking in terms of direct kinship).

I'll keep you posted as to how this develops. I wish making these decisions were easier ...

When Microsoft found my weak spot "anime"... Downloading Internet Explorer 11 (Inori version)

So MS's marketing didn't quite have the desired effect ... So, I take it you have Windows 8 installed and the only way for you to get IE11 is by updating to Windows 8.1. Unless you have Windows 7 for which IE11 can be downloaded from MS or eventually be obtained via Windows Update, your only choice is through the Windows App Store and, thus, the 3+ GB download. If I where you, though, I would definitely go through the trouble, if I could ...

Pray for all the people in the Philippines for their safety from Haiyan.

Man, the toll is devastating ... hopefully, the survivors affected will get back on their feet soon, and, start the recovery and reconstruction process.

Plus, the log to the upper right looks particularly bit odd to me! I think it's both the slanted (left) visible hole side and the bottom part of it looks either buried under the snow or cut off, more the further to the left you go.

Hiya

Something tells me we're in for a wild ride ...

Not quite sure, but you can now track the tweeted ones:

Now that's what I call putting technology to good use ...

The Problem Page game

Solution: Change the baby's diaper, putting a very dirty one instead of a clean one so the baby gets a serious diaper rash. That'll teach him/her to give dirty looks to wrong people.
Problem: There's this girl I really like but lost contact with (this is actually a TRUE story!). How do I go about reconnecting with her and getting on her good side?

What are you thinking about right now?

17 hours of travel finally over... Need sleep. Lots of sleep.

So I can wale up at 4:30 AM and go work in an oil field. Hooray!

Something tells me somebody is working hard but making the big bucks.

I saw today I got my first bonus from work deposited today. It was nice but yet unexpected surprise! I was planning to go tonight shopping tonight for a special sale, during which, if you show up wearing your pajama you get an extra 10% off (yes, that's NOT a typo!). So, I have decided to splurge a bit and actually buy most of what I had my eye on and that's on sale (extra discount on top, no less!). Probably the single item that's most unnecessary, but I look forward most to getting, is this mini (or is it micro?) foosball table that's half off and I'll be able to afford the larger version of the french press coffeemaker, among other things.

Hiya

Hello from edchuy! I can also talk about myself in third person. :-P What IF said ...
