Are You An “Item Hoarder?”
Guilty as charged! Unless I notice they are very common, are useless or good cash is paid for them. That said, I won't shy away from using rare items if I consider the situation is dire enough or sometimes I will take the risk and wait for the next healer's turn. Sometimes things that were once rare are actually easy to obtain later.

I think the correct word you are looking for is sentient. Intelligent should be used selectively when describing other human beings, if you know what I mean ...

the Broncos lost and the Canucks lost- all on the same day!
(Guess I'll be rooting for the "Cards" now.)
If not for Peyton Manning, I'd root against the Broncos. They've been my 2nd most hated team other than the Cowboys. On the other hand, the Chiefs (courtesy of Joe Montana) are my 2nd favorite team. Sorry, but hockey's been a sport I've never understood enough to care for it (I went to a Boston Bruins game vs. I forget who, with my brother and Dad, who we were trying to please; must have been the most boring 1-0 hockey game ever!).
