What are the side-effects on the elemental skills?


Okay, the Elec skill causes Shock, which allows fro a greater chance of critical hits, works like stun, and the Ice skill wich causes Freeze which works like Stun but also reduces all Physical defence to 0, also all Fire skills remove the Frezze side effect

How hard are the four elemental skills to get? Is it safe to assume most players will have most of them?


Most players will definetly get all the four with copies to spare, but the ones Sure are the Elec one and Fire one(as they are given in a event) if they are too unlucky whit the RNG

Does the player have enough MP, and enough items that restore MP, to keep using attacking skills for the whole battle, if it lasts about 15 rounds? If not, about how long will it take before the player runs totally out of MP and has to switch to normal attacks?


The Magic character (Brent) at level 15 get's to use magic attack 11 times before running out of Mp, the Physical character (Lia) gets to use the magic skills 6 times, also the physcial skills consume an Hp percentage... 3% the normal one(which I forget to add is unavoidable) and 7% the one with the chance of Poison

By this point of the game they get access to exactly up to 5 mp recovery objects (all the same) wich actually rstores up to level 20 almost half of the Mp.

They will relly in Healing items for most of this dungeon as the Healing skill cost the same as the first tier elemental-magic.

[RMVX ACE] How to make the screen stop shaking?

You mean that the screen shakes every time you enter the map or only for one scene, normally the screen has a time(Frame) which determines the duration of the shake effect...

Othe rpossibility will use a self-switch in the event to make it stop once you travel from map to map

Hello mmmm I want to ask an opinion on how correctly should work this boss well let's see okay first thing right...

First the game that I'm developing has the stats limited so characters and enemies can get up to 40 points in each stat characters Hp can get up to 999 and MP up to 500, enemies and bosses is different.

Also all the playable character are limited to 3 Attacking Skill and 3 Passives (as slots... by that I mean that they are equipped instead of having normal equip), up to this point they have the chance of getting the 4 elemental skill two with side-effect, two physical skill one of them which can inflict Poison, the first normal healing skill, a skill that removes poison.

As for passives there're two passives that reduce elemental damage, one that allow normal attacks to inflict something akin to Paralyze(called Bind in the game)one that rises Hp by 10% and another that raises MP +10%

There are 3 characters up to this point, the Main (can be Magical, Physical, Neutral or Defensive) a Magic character and a Physical Character

Boss: Mad Andrew Hp: I don't know how much but maybe less than 700 the characters should be around level 13 - 15 when fighting him... so they should have around 150-200

Mp: he doesn't run out...

Original Idea:
He was going to have two turns (he is the first enemy to have them) one of them should use a Break skill which reduce element resistance of one ally of one element, and then he would use one AOE - element skill... that was the idea but I see it too simple... however he is the first boss so...

Maybe a back story of the boss could also help, he is a student that joined a cult thanks to his father, he seems to have killed his father and kills the girl that he was obsessed with... yeah he is pretty much insane...

Sooo opinion and Help please...

Maybe I put this in the worng place, as is not a Job but actually an ask for help... so if anyone can move this if it doesn't fit the criteria or any of the criteria I will appreciat it.

[RMVX ACE] Searching for a team who want to work on a project (FREE)

First of everything:
This is a project for experimenting and try and error.
I'm not asking for professionals or something like that, only for persons who want to have a little fun doind something else.

General Idea of the Project:
A game based on the Shin Megami Tesnei series, without the first person battle view that represents the series.
The game will consist of several aspect for various parts of the series, including racial skill, (from DeSu).

Plot:
Our Protagonist(who is not going to be silent) develops a two crushes, on to the most popular girl in the high school who is accuintance of him, and the newset girl that arrives, hiowever the newes girl is a victim inside school of the recen 'animal murderes' that have been attacking the town, whichc are later revealed to be part of a cult sacrifices to bring demons to the world of humans

Our protagonist with his best friend and the still alive crush find that the shcool has been closed down and several of the teacher are missing leaving them trapped inside with demons starting to roam free, the new girl sacrifice finally allowed the summons of demons to the world.

This is only the first part of the story which later develops in a conspirancy orchastated by Angels so them have a reason to intervine in the human world.

Gameplay:

The idea is for player to costumise characters skill sets and the possibility to equip demon essences that gives characters, the skill, elemental resistance and racial skill of the demons they fought, however the characters are limited to three skill, passives and only two demons.

The skill also have requirements before they can be equiped which limits the sets for most of the character at early levels but also mantaining each character in role.

The only way to gain skill and passives and obviously demons is for the players to fight against these beings, equipping the corect passives or skill can make the most difficult battle the most easy. but it's also the other way around equiping only because you can equip it will leave you characters either two weak or pretty much useless.

Is also a front view battle style game, so that the art of the awsome Kazuma Kaneko isappreciated, alogn witht he other artist of the series

Being faithful to the series the game has at least 3 path one of neutrality one of law and one of chaos, remeber that Light is not always good and darkness is not always evil

I found a script that allows a character to use all of their skills when being tagged by a note-tag, i still need to see if I can seal skills with the same state and the character will only use all unsealed skills or if the character will use skills regardless but I think I can work with it.

I would also be glad if you managed to explain to me or direct me to some time of writed tutorial that tells how to add the 50% of the even adding the state, i did the common event but i dind't managed to find a way to add the 50% chance.

Also I would like to ask if someone knows of a way to create a skill which number of hits is dependant on a stat something like...

The Skill hits 2 times, If the AGI of a character is 20 or more, then the skill hits 3 times, if the AGI is 25 or more then it hits 4 times, if the AGI is 30 or more then it hits 5 times... etc.

Is there any way to do this...

I need help with one state effect.

I want to make a Charm effect.

When a character be it enemy or ally is affected by it

If the enemy/ally has a healing ability then they use it on the opposite team, allies heal enemies, enemies heal allies, if not then they only attack their allies, they also have a chance of losing their turn...

Does anyone knows of a way to do this...
