Honestly, I would go back and research real monarchs during times of tension (during a war, a revolution, etc.) throughout history. Fiction is great for researching what makes for good drama, but it's, eeehhh... not great for stuff that actually happens.

And before you dismiss actual history as being "boring" or NOT having enough drama, BOY HOWDY do I have news for you. History is fascinating, historical figures are fascinating, and I can tell ya that I have not regretted the switch from fantasy novels to historical texts one little bit. That shit's engaging as all hell and educational as fuck when it comes to writing your own stories!

Alrighty, so, I picked up the demo and it crashed after the, eehhh... the scene where Verge and Vigil were expositioning about terrorists? I think that was the one? There was talk of rusty birds and w/e.

Anyway, this game is v obviously not my cup of tea so I probably won't pick it up again, but I do think I should mention that 1) the game crashed after that scene, 2) you really gotta check your tile B-E for passibility errors, since MAN was I ever walkin' on walls! and 3) I would very much so recommend swapping to a dark background windowskin. If the game hadn't crashed, I probably woulda quit from this alone! It really, really hurt my eyes, and I'm only 23 and don't have that terrible of eyes.

I was getting a pure white windowskin, but I'm wondering if I was missing a file...? Either way, it sorta looked like this screenshot:

I'm guessing you wanna go for that clean, sci-fi look, so might I recommend a dark, metallic grey? Or perhaps a dark blue. Either way, it should be easily readable for the player.

There were a few other minor errors that I can't remember off the top of my head, so I would once again recommend combing through the demo and ferreting them out before the next release. I can tell a lot of effort went into this demo, but it defs needs another round of polishing.

Personally I'm pretty eeehh on the whole "should people use rips from big name games" issue, but I will admit to being salty that you're asking people asking for free resources while only offering ~experience~ or ~your name in the credits~.

Like, at the end of the day, if people wanna give you free stuff because they feel like it, that's their prerogative, I guess, but like... idk if you want original resources, maybe pay someone for them. And maybe keep the asking for resources to resource request forums or your own gamepage.
