I've been to Atlanta a few times! It seemed like a nice place. Really warm and humid though!
It is surprisingly warm here, compared to my small home base in Tennessee! I am actually enjoying this quite a bit, Atlanta is not that bad this time of year. My apartment back in Jamestown is freezing compared to this, so even though I'm here on a sale, it feels like vacation almost. You are right on that.

I like your "Durp, RTP game, it's likely bad!" attitude.

XD Normally it is true.

German game: In the heart of darkness: first game with gay characters?

No, that is not how I meant it either. I don't take offense at that sort of thing, but- Prior Experiences does make me very cautious when it comes to certain elements in video games and anime for that matter.

Well, as long as it is not so terrible that it overbears the story, it should be fine. Although, RTP is never a good sign.

EDIT: I just read that as well. Well, if it is well written enough I'll check it out.

And now I'm in Georgia, state of the peach... I have a couple of hours to kill before I make the sell, though. YAWN! I hate driving all night... Thank god I was not pulled over, as explaining that many swords and knives without a proper license would be a pain... Gah.

German game: In the heart of darkness: first game with gay characters?

...If so, I do not appreciate it that much. Well, depends on the context, but if this game crosses Yaoi Territory, I'm avoiding it like the plague.

Forum as "evil entity"? I would say the database and the forums are more melted together as in other communities where the database is quite worthless and people consider "good posts" more important/bigger contribution than reviews...

... This is where my skills with english, show their lack of polish on the arms. I was referring to the separation of the site and the fourms, which we have achieved here quite nicely, I might add.

Good posts, in my mind are not always as valuable as reviews. With reviews, people can enjoy and accept the fruits of their labors much more, as it correlates directly to their works. A "good" post is neutral, and does not necessarily help anyone in any fashion, nor does it have to be about anything in reality.

I made idea generators

Aha, no problem and I just finished polishing the project page. Well, I'm off to writing the first story for this project.

I made idea generators

I'm sure it still contradicts itself, but its like pollishing something. I find rough spots and contradictions and prevent them from happening. Suggestions are one thing... doing them is another. :-)

People have even suggested other random generators, but they are just that random.

Interesting idea with the .pdf book. I remember one of my friends participated in some Halo fan fiction with 100 people writing the same story that turned out to be 1,000 pages long. When one marine was killed the next person took over as the marine that did the killing.

That is impressive, and I've never heard of it before. I think I will try to find that, just out of interest. :)

I can understand what you mean by polishing it, though. Well, it is still a nice tool as well, and I am very thankful you put it up on here, even if it is more of a novelty then anything else.

Oh, on that note, The topic page for the project is now up in Creative, and here is a link to it:

It needs some polishing, and my wording may be a little rough, but it conveys the point and gives you that plug as well. ;)

The Random Quest Story Book Project!

This is one of the more amusing writing projects I am taking on, and am doing this to improve my skills, for amusement among other reasons. The idea is to use this wonderful (and amazing) idea generator from shortstar and use it to write several short stories, of at least 500 words long a piece or so, and then compiling it all into a pdf book file, just for the amusement of doing so. You are more then welcome to send in your stories into the project as well, and once we reach about 10 to 15 stories, I will work my magic in pageplus X2 (I use it to hand publish books that are collections of internet, like the epic time travel conversation in 2003 on chrono trigger physics XD) So, just use it as a guide line for your stories and it is acceptable.

1. You must to use this generator to come up with the anything it can generate for your story.
http://rpgmaker.net/users/ShortStar/locker/generator5.swf
2. You are not forced to use 4 characters, feel free to generate any number for your story's cast (Party can be anywhere in between 1-9999 members)
3. Each story must be at least 500 words long (Not excatly ten pages, but internet standards and all~!)
4. The generator is just a base! Feel free to add details as you feel fit, and you don't have to tell the reader everything as well!
5. Make sure to post your story on this topic and if it is a work in progress, post the title so I can add it to the list.
6. Have some fun, This is going to be extremely random and each story will vary in everything from the last.

Nope undefined means that I called something with an undefined value. Even a no value is still defined as no value. Its just an error.

It can always be an anonymous troll... since its undefined.

If anything I think my idea generator has impressed people at the fact there is logic behind it instead of being totally random. If I notice logic problems like "Igor the giant evil little girl." I change it.

People have suggested a contest of making games based on the quests. Thanks for the posts.

Aha, that is why I am enjoying it so much, the fact that it does use a form of logic that allows it to not contradict itself. I'm surprised that people have suggested such things, but it is an excellent tool that I will be using for this project.

Ah, so it was just a programming error then. Alright, that makes more sense to me then. Well, I am setting it up right now, and the goal behind this creative project is to get 10 stories written by either me or anyone who is interested, wherin I'll make it into a pdf book file. So, you can see the project topic in a few minutes up on Creative. Thanks for the permission, though!
