Forever's End

Game-stopping bug... warp.dll error. The game crashed when that error popped-up. It happened outside the inn after the Marcellus interrogating the inn keeper for Frederick sequence. Epoch was surrounded by 4 soldiers while Elise was on his back. One of the soldier left the screen and poof... warp.dll error... :(

Edit* Do you think I'm using an outdated version? The folder name is... "Forever's End 2"

Edit 2* Fixed the problem... It seems the version I was using is out-of-date, so i downloaded the new version, which has a folder named,"Forever's End 5," if I'm not mistaken.

Edit 3* Ok... Another game-hindering bug... :(( Extreme lag in a boss battle - Ghandarva against Lee and Goldo, when I use the 'Change Domain' skill. Please help me fix this annoying problem. It's virtually impossible to beat the guy, when it takes 1 or 2 minutes for a single skill execution. :((

Forever's End

Hmhhh... It didn't work. Oh well... I'm fine with restarting the game every now and then. :)

@NicoB, the 2 key didn't work. :( Although, restarting the game, somehow, fixed the lag issue on the world map.
You mean it didn't help or didn't do anything? You need to make sure to press the 2 key when there isn't a dialogue box showing. You'll here a confirmation sound (it makes the water animations go away). But if the lag is gone now, then I guess you won't need it.

By number 2, do you mean the one on the numpad?

@NicoB, thanks for the tip. :)

The Elemental Stories

@Jeroenbrom, I'll try out the the demo after finishing Forever's End, Vacant Sky and Last Scenario. It shouldn't be that long though since I'm almost done with Last Scenario and I'm almost finished with Act II of Vacant Sky. I'll give you my feedback once I've tried the demo.

Wish you the best of luck and am looking forward to the completion of this game. ;)

Forever's End

Hey, just want to let you know that I started playing FE last night and am Impressed with what I'm seeing so far. I don't give a damn if there were a lot of cliches in the intro because you still delivered well and have kept me engrossed. The only problem I've encountered so far is the game lags in certain maps- Elise's Village(1st Mission) and the sewers(Epoch's Grand Escape). I notice that when you're outside the village, the game lags like hell, but when you come inside one of the houses, it runs smoothly again. Also, when I pull the levers for the water level to decrease in the sewers, the game lags the moment you get out of the lever room. I hope that I will not encounter similar problems later on the game... :(

Haha, thanks, but I think you're giving me a bit too much credit. Still, I'm glad you enjoy the games! You're actually one of the only people to say they enjoyed Act I's difficulty. You'll probably enjoy some of the optional bosses in Act III.

No biggie. :) There are optional bosses in Act III? Cool. I'll definitely try it out. Btw, is there also a hard mode for Act III?

I googled too because I read someone else used a editor to fix the menu bug. I found this one and used it: http://sites.google.com/site/darklunas/sgedit

Thanks for the link man. ;) This might really come in handy. I hope I won't have the need to use it though since I don't want to mess with the game so much.

The Elemental Stories

@JeroenBrom, what I meant was a World Map, where I'm free to roam around and explore? Anyhow, great work so far. I'm liking the screenies.

Then I also had the bug with the disabled menu after the Kasch quest. I fixed this with a save file editor. Don't forget to fix this in your Complete Edition.
Where can I get this save file editor? Maybe this will come in handy if I get stuck with a bug in the future.
That's the only game-hindering bug in all three acts that I'm aware of.

Oh, I meant for other games. :) It might come in handy even though there are only a few VX/XP games I actually like and am looking forward too.

PS One of those few VX/XP games is Vacant Sky. :) And, will there be a volume 2? If so, I'll really be looking forward to it. It's rare to find a developer as creative as you, who is using the VX/XP Engine. I wish the rest of the developers would follow your example... They should really try this game out before selling bug-infested games with a lot of typos. :(

*Edit - Oh yeah, nearly forgot... I really liked the difficulty on the boss battles in Act I, it makes you think, not just randomly using the best moves in your arsenal.
