The Kelly Chronicles
R. Kelly fans will be sorely disappointed. :(
5 - The Only Way

6 - Now Things Get Interesting

Yay, plot and premise groundwork. Behold, at the end of 6, how I was torn between drawing Zelda's feet and not drawing them at all! Looks better w/o imo...
So, what do you guys think? Should I keep this up, or isn't anyone interested?

The Sword or the Pen: Your Character's Weapon Preference in RPGs

why you dont use guns in RPG games...
I'll admit, I do get sick of swords after a while. That's why I always try to give characters in my games their own unique weapons. There are still swords, but only one guy can use them. There have also been bows, clubs, and daggers before. I'll be using axes in PH4, and I plan to use a much wider variety of weapons as I introduce new playable characters. The only exception to my "1 weapon type per person" rule is the character that is multitalented and can use any weapon at all. So far, it's worked pretty well, and there have actually been more bows than anything else in my games.

The Kelly Chronicles
I think this is the right place for this, so here goes...
This is a comic series I wrote last year about an original character named Kelly and an unoriginal character with an original personality, Link. Before I get started, though, let me explain a little about how this came to be.
Back before I knew how to drive, I had to ride back and forth to work with my dad. Sometimes, I had to wait in his office, and I killed time by drawing pictures. I once drew a whole bunch of random characters on a note, and they came from all over the video game universe. There were Pokemon, people from Bomberman, Mario, Legend of Zelda, a bunch from FF7...just a really bizarre mix. Anyway, I left the note there, and dad's secretary found it.
She thought the pictures were neat, so I started leaving her more notes describing the characters and where they came from/what there deal was. Once I finished all the notes, dad asked me to make an original character for her. So, I made Kelly (named after the secretary).
After that, dad thought it would be cool if I used Kelly in the comic series I've been writing. She didn't really have a place in it, though, so I decided to write a unique story for her instead. I took all the characters from the original note (about 42 in all) and made up a story for Kelly to star in. This is that story.
Now, then...my art is far from the best in the world. I have my own unique style, but it's very...quaint (that's the nice way of putting it). I've been drawing this way for awhile, but the style might bother some people. Anyway, here's the first two episodes. And, yes, I started using a ruler after the first two.
1 - A New Ally

2 - Storming the Fortress

If anybody's interested in seeing more, I'll keep posting them. If not, then I won't bother. This is a fairly long series (62 episodes in all), so I don't want to waste my time if nobody wants to read them.
I hope you enjoy them!
