Release Something! Day II [Release Thread]
Altaer
Altaer is a small side project I have been working on. It is not going to boast special features, an epic story, unique gameplay, amazing mapping, etc. But I hope it will be a fun and simple game that people will enjoy going through, with likable characters and an interesting story.
Still working out a lot of details from the story, so here are some screens. There are probably some errors and such, but I will get to them at some point.

Looks really good! I would say though that the lighthouse seems to kind of stick out funny though. I think the texture of the grass makes it seem kind of flat or something.

Thanks. Yea, the background is temporary, still looking for something to match more what I want. Also, I am currently editing the rubble around the door so it looks less square.
Release Something! Day II: The Sequel [March 20th]
I guess I will release something. How about I use that day to reveal a little side project called Altaer I have been working on? It is kind of a regular RPG, not anything to special, but something I would work on when bored with Majesty.

The Release Something Day
Trying to make puzzles in Majesty. I never knew being creative was so hard. Also I am finding some of my ideas are not working out so I am having to go through and change how things work.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Thursday I will have it... Thursday. I am still in disbelief that the game is even out, and can't wait to play it.
Of the consoles you own, which is your favorite?
I'm with WIP, Super Nintendo hands down.
Of more recent systems, I am not to sure.
My Xbox 360 is pretty sweet, when it plays the games. Mostly I have been into Bioshock with it.
I like the Wii, been playing Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3, and as soon as I get Brawl, it will probably leap to the top for a while.
My PS2 is good for when I want to play Shadow of the Colossus. Gamecube I have been warming up on Smash bros with Melee.
So I guess I would have to go with the Wii for right now.

This looks good! On the town screen though, I think the stairs at the top need to be erased one or tow, it looks kind of odd jutting out like that.
