http://rpgmaker.net/games/1712/this then, as I referred to before, as we are all "lead."
I sigh at you, good sir.
AznChipmunk uploaded the file? AznChipmunk's name listed. NO, AznChipmunk is not the leader (Jesus Christ...), but, um... AznChipmunk editing the gamepage? AznChipmunk's name listed. YEAH, OKAY, AznChipmunk is not the leader (for crying out loud...), but, err... AznChipmunk part of the team? AznChipmunk's NAME LISTED.
And for the record, putting the author's name beneath the title isn't the only way to go about this. If we all think outside the box, I'm sure we could come up with somewhere on the gamepage that would make one link nice, accessible and convenient. You guys found a place for the title itself, didn't you?
Oh, man, this is such a lost cause for no reason whatsoever.
Backstage Review
Firstly, stop sucking your thumb. This isn't a day care and I nor anyone else here is certified to hold your hand.
Secondly, the only reason people are ganging up on you is because you're asking for it. The first thing that came out of your mouth was: "You know, in my experience, this review is going about itself all wrong." I so wish Solytare would've said "You're welcome" and just stalked off. You've got a lot of nerve trying to tell someone in your audience that they're inadequate because, oh, you don't like their opinion. Are you so afraid of the thought that someone in the universe does not appreciate your one, precious month work? You need to do some soul searching, man.
Thirdly, I've tried and failed to come up with a way to explain criticism any better to you. Ultimately, you as the developer have the right to dismiss anything and everything your audience says, but I honestly don't see how that will help you improve. Speaking from experience, I think you should meditate. Meditate on the 5/5's; meditate on the 1/5's and 3/5's. Mediation never hurt anybody. What gave your audience these impressions? Listen to them and take their opinions to heart, otherwise the only person who will be able to grade your work is yourself, and I believe that is the lowest kind of standard you ever want to set.
Call me a dipshit, but I think every opinion shapes your work just as much as you did.

Great image, though a bit monochromatic. Doesn't beat the background image of THIS FREAKING PAGE DEAR GAWD I WOULD CALL THE POLICE IF A GIRL LOOKED AT ME LIKE THAT.

But again, I'll respect everyone's wishes and shut up if the issue just isn't coming through to you. It's not a big issue, by any means--very elementary--so I'll understand if the triviality of it all is what's undermining my points.

Yeah, I get it, I get it! I know all about teamwork and giving credit where due, believe me, but that's not what I meant to imply. I'm trying to say that it's YOU who uploaded it. Therefore, at least your name should be added beneath the title, if adding all seven names sounds too ridiculous--it's a compromise.
And I disagree with something as simple and convenient as popping in a link being impractical. I've offered examples before--Newgrounds, Youtube, etc. They all do it. Why? Not because it's impractical, but because it's convenient. Sure, RMN at least has the developers' names hidden SOMEWHERE in the vast areas of each game, but having to hunt down that location every time for every one of the hundreds of games is certainly not practical. You can find links to any of the site's features, to gamepages, to voting screens, to blogs, images, and more with EASE. But a link to the developer? A tiny box in the corner of the screen. For crying out loud, would it really be that bad to see your name next to the title of the game instead? Then, no matter where I go on the gamepage, I'll always see the name of the game I'm sifting through AND its developer (or one of its developers, as the case may be). There is nothing impractical about that.

Wait a sec, tardis, are you saying that all of you did in fact upload the game at the same time under each of your accounts? o_0 Excuse me if that comes as something of a surprise.
Okay, supposing that all seven of you are lead (space must be tight up there), then I admit that that would be an issue. See, normally, a project has an executive in charge of production--in this case that person would be the one who uploaded the game and is updating the gamepage with their account. That person would be the author to be listed under the game's title at all times. However if ALL of you are THE ONE AND ONLY executive producer, I am simply baffled and can say nothing further.
Since my main issue (with the inconvenience of not putting an author's name beneath their game's title) doesn't seem to be coming off as an "issue" at all to the rest of you, I suppose I'll digress if arguments like these continue. It is a shame that for all these posts, we didn't even reach a compromise; no offense, but I think that's pretty stubborn. I mean, did my proposals make even the slightest bit of sense? At all?
Eh. You can't beat the sand with a stone.

SERIOUSLY, these graphics are way off the chain! This might be the best-looking RM game I've ever seen! I can't wait to see how it looks in action!
