KITTEN2021'S PROFILE
It has been a very long time since I have been on this website or hosted any games on it. Last message I left was sometime back in 2011, so obviously I have been on a lengthy hiatus. I apologize, but I am aiming to begin fresh and new with nothing tying me down or back due to what I previously had so all my previous games have been deleted from the site.
I will leave nothing on this website, except for very small things - updates every great once in a blue moon, etc. - and make no promises to anyone.
Please refer to the game titled Eriscadia for any further information.

Woo nto so new, but new acc - questions before i get started.
If your trying to say that you want to know which maker people would think to use the most, that has the potential to start a large discussion.
Personally, I like the RPG Maker VX, its very pretty and it doesn't lag on my machine; for whatever reason, I have a serious lag issue with XP or any other maker I use (if anyone can tell me why, PLEASE, please do). Bad side is, if you want a very nice looking (graphics wise) game - like having pretty lights, nice looking shadows, etc. then you need to know how to do scripting. Also, it only allows you to have 4 different chip-set's in the engine - no more.
However, I know for a fact that XP is the most enjoyable to map with. I love the different layers you get with it and the freedom to have as many chip-set's in the game as you want. It's not dependent on scripting, it's a piece of cake to get panorama's into the game (which I suppose you could use to make the pretty lights and stuff...) and it's graphic level is alright. Bad side is, scripting is a little harder to do in it; I personally could never figure it out < but I can't script worth beans anyways. I don't like the fact that it doesn't run as smooth as VX, but I haven't used it in about 3 years, so it might be better by now, no clue.
Lol, I got this all finished and realized you said "2k3"! Oh... Will write a lil' thing about that below for you as well.
RPG Maker 2k3 is alright... I used it only for a little bit because of the bad graphics. A lot of people like the look of the graphics - makes it look classic and all, which, don't get me wrong, that is a very good way to look at that, I love a good classic game. But as far as I remember, 2k3 was a little limited and I don't think it had the ability to script. I loved the battle system in 2k3 however, and have noticed a lot of people reverting their VX and XP battle systems back to how 2k3's was. The ATB system has once again became extremely popular like it was with 2k3, which is a very high selling point in my books. As for the chip-set's, again, your limited on the size of your chip-set, but not on the amount of different chip-set's allowed in the engine. I loved the monsters in that engine as well, very nice looking for the type of graphics it had. As for the simplicity of the mapping... I can't say, I just re-tried to create a map in it, and I couldn't get anything good to come out of it. But, it was the easiest thing in the world to work with and I loved the freedom I had with the characters (that all got ripped away from us from XP up).
If you like 2k3, go with it; but if you want something that looks much nicer and allows you to modify it a lot, then XP or VX would be my suggestion. (Hope that helps you out!) :3

You have to convert the default background layer to an editable layer first...

Baby Playpen Question - HELP parents!
Its a plastic mat with I believe thin wooden slats or something inside of it. It was very cheap since it was just for a dog...
Baby Playpen Question - HELP parents!
OK, look, I won't lie, I actually have a playpen for one of my puppies - but its being used to protect her from one of the other dogs that's old and doesn't like puppies until shes older and no longer bothers the older dog. It allows her to still roam around free and all that, but I have one major issue with it...
She is, remember, a puppy... She has peed in this playpen now a couple of times and I got the mat out and cleaned it very well with fantastic first and then with soap and hot water. When I place it back in the playpen it smells great for a while, but then later on in the day I can smell something nasty; turns out, its the playpen.
No matter what I do, I can't get the smell out of it; I've even left it outside for a full day and night to try and allow it to air-out. Do any parents out there have any suggestions for me on what to do with this playpen mat? I've looked online to just buy one alone, but their not sold separately from the playpens and I really think its ridiculous to have to buy a whole new playpen just for a new mat.
Anyways, thanks for the advice. (And please no bashing, trust me, the playpen has saved her life and allowed me to keep the two in the same room/house ever since I got it, so its not stupid.) :P

Faceset in photoshop help
Hey guys, I'm trying to get my faceset I am using to no longer have the black around the outside of it, it just looks strange and incorrect in my game. But, every time I try to remove the black from the background in Photoshop using the Magic Wand tool, and normally it works just fine and leaves me withe the standard gray and white checkerboard board background showing proof its now transparent.
Example 1:

However, out of the blue, its no longer deleting the background, its just making it white. When I place it in my game, the white is still there and its no longer transparent. I have a little over 100 facesets I need to do this to, does anyone know how I can correct this problem?

@narcodis: Thanks, I've been looking all over for that script.
@WCouillard: Thanks, I've been trying to figure that out... I'll update the image as soon as I can.

item for vx
In other words, your looking for an item that (if in inv) it will act as a re-try item; it will revive your party members once they have been killed and allow you to continue fighting in that same fight without having to start over or anything, right?
