KITTEN2021'S PROFILE
It has been a very long time since I have been on this website or hosted any games on it. Last message I left was sometime back in 2011, so obviously I have been on a lengthy hiatus. I apologize, but I am aiming to begin fresh and new with nothing tying me down or back due to what I previously had so all my previous games have been deleted from the site.
I will leave nothing on this website, except for very small things - updates every great once in a blue moon, etc. - and make no promises to anyone.
Please refer to the game titled Eriscadia for any further information.

As soon as I can get a demo up and going, would you be willing to try my Eriscadia game? Its always good to have someone else play your game so you can see what you might need to fix/scratch or what.
Quest Markers Above NPCs/Items
Hey guys, just out of curiosity, does anyone know how to make an object appear above an NPC that has a quest or something significant for you to learn from them?
Example:
I have a quest you gain in the game that requires you to go and speak with someone in the town that you don't know yet, however, I don't want people looking all over the place for who knows how long to try and find said person. I would like there to be something that shows up above the quest finisher's head or quest objective persons/objects head that lets the player know, "Oh! That's who/what I'm looking for!",
Thanks a bunch guys for any help or ideas or scripts you might already know that does this!

Omg... Holy -
I can't wait to see a game with this engine... Imagine a boss fight with 128 chars on the screen. :D Epic... Thanks WC!
EDIT:
Hey, I know this is awesome and everything, but is there any way that a command could be implemented to force anyone of one particular class (i.e. Warrior, Priest, Mage, etc.) to perform an auto-attack? I mean, even if you just had 20 chars in your party, going through each of them would be a real drag after a while. At least that way, you could command 'x class' to attack and then deal with the rest yourself (example would be, having a large party with only a few mages and healers, but the rest warriors or archers. You could auto-command them to just perform a normal attack while dealing with the other classes yourself for more specific attacks to be used.)

RPG 20XX Engine
Wolf, I had stepped away from 2k/3 for so long because of all the problems it had... But I think you just made me love it again. :3
Thanks for the hard work! Looking great so far.

author=WCouillardI'll be honest, I'm not sure I understand what you mean by the color tool. I went in and looked at it, but I couldn't figure out how to blend the colors together with that.
Still needs to be brought down a little. Try using the blending method "Overlay" or "Color" in photoshop and then bring the opacity down a pinch. Should blend a little better.
author=WCouillardActually, the lights are all one layer and the shadows are all one layer. Was taught how to do that by a few peeps here in the forums, but still learning how to really work it out. Any pointers would be awesome (have only owned Photoshop for about a week).
Are you using an overlay on the map or are the lighted parts actual tiles in the set?

This is bright and everything, but it seems overly crowded... Between the birds all over the screen and then all those flowers. Its nice and all, but you might want to tone that down just a tad.

Is there something wrong with the server/modding staff/admin/contrails? My game seems to be stuck in pending
Give 'em some time, the site just went under new management. They will approve it the instant they can get the chance to do so for you. :)

That scare ...scarred me for life. I am currently in the state of BSoD however...
Holbert I love you.

where will you be going when rmn shuts down?
I guess MD... I don't know. After this site goes down, I probably will lose the enthusiasm I had for making my game. It was the community here that kept my game alive... If I can keep it alive by following what appears to be a large portion of RMN over at MD, then I'll try it.
Thanks for letting us know the place was avail to RMN peeps... At least until we can find another home.
(Geeze, I sound like I'm some lost pup or something seeking out a permanent residence... Pathetic really.) *shrugs*
