KITTEN2021'S PROFILE

It has been a very long time since I have been on this website or hosted any games on it. Last message I left was sometime back in 2011, so obviously I have been on a lengthy hiatus. I apologize, but I am aiming to begin fresh and new with nothing tying me down or back due to what I previously had so all my previous games have been deleted from the site.

I will leave nothing on this website, except for very small things - updates every great once in a blue moon, etc. - and make no promises to anyone.

Please refer to the game titled Eriscadia for any further information.

Wow... 0.o You know, I think there's actaully a rating requirment for the site, isn't there someone? Such as requiring you to post stating that this is Mature or that there is a LOT of nakedness in the game...? Just thinking of the kids out there that will be playing this game more then likely and the parents that will catch them and then scream at the web master of the site... (Um, *clears throat*, WIP might nit like that part - least I 'think' he's the web master, not sure anymore) >.o

(Lol, btw, i'm DL-ing this the instant I can get the time to play games)

Its not a robot fish, silly. Its a volcanic lizard-type-thing... Yeah anyways, its a lizard that comes from lava. Its skin is hard in some places to match the hard rocks in the area... Hard to match it up with what exactly I was wanting, but it was the closest thing I could get. (All credit goes to LockeZ for creating the EXACT coloring I was needing, THANK YOOOOOUUUUU!) :)

Hey kitten2021! The game looks very interesting but I don't usually like Japanese themed games. We'll see how it turns out.

Sorry for the late reply, busy life! DX But thank you for at least sticking with it, I appreciate it a lot!:)

Oh, that's the window that pops down to show the name of the location. I just did a screen cap before it came all the way down... it was an auto-running event, wanted to take a shot before it got too far into it.

Lighting Changed With Tile Used

Wow, sorry guys, I had stayed off the site because of it being messed up... Thanks for all the reply's, I appreciate it. BTW, as far as I knew, you couldn't use Panorama's in RMVX; how do you get this done?

Update Notes (9/11/2010)

Best of luck getting this fixed guys... Maybe tomorrow we can post our game images and stuff up... (Roots for you some more!)

Now I'm getting an Internal Server Error every time I try to post a new topic...

Lighting Changed With Tile Used

OK, title is a little confusing, but I had no other way to point out what I was looking for. I'm trying to see if someone could walk me through making a script that would match to what tile I used so I could create a nice glow for whatever I used. Example being, I want my lava to glow in my game, give it more of a volcanic feel, but no events work well and if I should 'need' another event on top of it or below it (say, for example at the bottom or top of your waterfalls, etc.) then I wouldn't be able to have the glow event there.

So, I was thinking that there would have to be a way to get a script made that would notice the tile used, i.e. the lava/water tile or the waterfall/lava-fall tile, and then create the appropriate glow for that tile used. For the water, if correctly used, could glow a slight summers day glow that could (in essence) be reflecting the sun or the moon, depending on the time of day tied into your game. Or, for the lava, it would give off a real warm or fiery hot feel to it...

What got me thinking about this was a game I had seen a while ago and been following ever since:
http://rpgmaker.net/games/1647/images/8203/

I've tried to figure out how their doing that, but I just can't; so, I was hoping someone would be willing to walk me through how to possibly make a script like that (tired of the same old look in my game, trying hard to get it to not match everyone else's - thus the reason for the 200+ custom made chars, etc.)
