KITTEN2021'S PROFILE

It has been a very long time since I have been on this website or hosted any games on it. Last message I left was sometime back in 2011, so obviously I have been on a lengthy hiatus. I apologize, but I am aiming to begin fresh and new with nothing tying me down or back due to what I previously had so all my previous games have been deleted from the site.

I will leave nothing on this website, except for very small things - updates every great once in a blue moon, etc. - and make no promises to anyone.

Please refer to the game titled Eriscadia for any further information.

Assistance with removal of project

~ I know this will seem like a real noob question, and I should know this by now, but, none-the-less... ~

How do you place "On-Hold" statuses on your projects and also how do you remove projects from your page?

I am going to be removing my Eriscadia: The Fall of Nations (a.k.a: Project 3) for the time being; re-creation of everything has taken a much larger toll on me than expected and I don't want to keep it up here for people to see when there is really none of those things in it any more.

(Of course, any other form of advice from people is also requested; such as, should I keep it up there so people at least know I'm still working on the project or forget about that and just take it down until I can actually get stuff presentable for it up and going again?)

Thank you very much everyone.

Photoshop Question

OK, I seriously need to get my hands on a version of Photoshop 7.0 or higher, preferably 7.0. Is the going price of that software SERIOUSLY around $500!? Or is $50.00 correct??? I see it at both prices at many different places and I'm confused as of to which one to spend my money on... Obviously, if I can avoid the $500.00 one, I would love to.

Help any one please! @_@

Famitsu.com - Japanese text problem?

Anyone else have this problem when they go to the Famitsu website?

Weird question....

OK, I know this is probably simple as heck to do and I'm just missing it, but I swear I've looked over everything and can't figure it out... -.- Been away from this too long apparently (go figure).

I'm trying to have a priest speaking in the background:

and then your hero being able to walk around at the same time... I know this is a very simple thing, but I just can't get it figured out... I know in one of the previous RPG Makers (XP or 2k3 I think...) you could set it to run in the background and thus allow you to wounder around without interrupting the event itself - just like if you had an event for birds flying around.

Anyway, can someone point me out in the right direction please...?

How do you get a lost version of a purchased RPG maker back?

My laptop, as some of you might know, hit the dirt a little while ago; I lost everything on the hard-drive (still working on that part) but have gotten a new hard-drive and the machine is up and running again - albeit a little off still, but that's OK. My problem though is that I purchased - yes, I said purchased - the RPG Maker VX about 7 or 8 months ago (can't remember exactly, its been a while)... I have lost everything I had that showed proof of this. How do I go about getting this back? I really don't want to pay another $60.00 for something I already have in the past.

Any help would be great! Thanks guys!
You can either post here your answer or PM me the answer, I really don't care... Thanks again.

Best Friends You've Lost

OK, so, I got really sappy and all that crap once I started sitting down and realizing (and allowing it to really hit me and sink in) that in two days I will be getting rid of the best friend I have ever had in my life... My dog, Lady.

I've had her for 11 years, got her as a 2 month old pup - rescued from a dumpster (the jerks). It took us 11 years to figure out what she is - a Belgian Sheepdog mixed with a Golden Retriever (yes, a gorgeous mixture). She is the most loving and adorable - not to mention loyal - friend I have ever had.

She has finally gotten a disease that the doctors can not figure out; the testing all points to some form of cancer. So now everything for her is $500 here, $1,200 there, and $60 for this or that - nearly every month they've told me (the meds are monthly, the $1200...). Finally it's came down to either living or dying with her from lack of food and money due to medical bills... I help support a family and my own problems, so it's finally time for the hardest choice in anyone's life...

Saying goodbye to your best friend. Let me tell you... It's the freaking hardest thing anyone can ever do.
($#!^, I'm freakin' crying now...) --.--'

Anyways, I wanted to know... How many of you have had to go through something like this; whether its with a friend (human) or a pet?

If you have, I'd love to hear them... Maybe help me out a little, seeing as to how I have to get rid of her in really a day in a half.

Lighting Changed With Tile Used

OK, title is a little confusing, but I had no other way to point out what I was looking for. I'm trying to see if someone could walk me through making a script that would match to what tile I used so I could create a nice glow for whatever I used. Example being, I want my lava to glow in my game, give it more of a volcanic feel, but no events work well and if I should 'need' another event on top of it or below it (say, for example at the bottom or top of your waterfalls, etc.) then I wouldn't be able to have the glow event there.

So, I was thinking that there would have to be a way to get a script made that would notice the tile used, i.e. the lava/water tile or the waterfall/lava-fall tile, and then create the appropriate glow for that tile used. For the water, if correctly used, could glow a slight summers day glow that could (in essence) be reflecting the sun or the moon, depending on the time of day tied into your game. Or, for the lava, it would give off a real warm or fiery hot feel to it...

What got me thinking about this was a game I had seen a while ago and been following ever since:
http://rpgmaker.net/games/1647/images/8203/

I've tried to figure out how their doing that, but I just can't; so, I was hoping someone would be willing to walk me through how to possibly make a script like that (tired of the same old look in my game, trying hard to get it to not match everyone else's - thus the reason for the 200+ custom made chars, etc.)

Assistance being requested: Artwork needing help

Artwork in question: http://rpgmaker.net/media/content/users/4763/locker/Fieraj_HalfRed.png

OK, this is the monster that I have found over at CLOSET (http://eurs.blog65.fc2.com/ ); I wanted this monster, but I wanted it to be red. CLOSET doesn't have it in the red I am looking for and I have done all that I can with it to this point, what I was wondering was...

Does anyone have any suggestions on what sort of color I should make the remaining green portion of his skin? He is going to be a volcanic-type monster you encounter, so it is necessary that he be created.

Or is it possible for someone to work some beautiful magic on him for me...? Not an option I am asking for, but I will take any help on this guy... He's been a difficult train ride for me. -.-

Thanks again peeps!
(P.S: Whoa... Two posts in one night... I'm apparently on some kind of role! Whew...)
