Fire RMNblem

My main attackers were Aegix and Kloey, although Libby could also one-shot a few targets with Ragnarok until she ran out of MP. Aegix had the ballista. Kloey had the lance of will. I think I gave Kloey the Umbral Shadow Ring once she was already level 20 as a Falco Knight, but I don't think Aegix had any rings on.

During battles, everyone else just hid on the back lines, unless Unity and Nessiah were casting Again a couple times in a row, and then I'd have Yellow and Soft Dude attack.

I trained up Mirak and turned him into a swordsman, and I trained up Gourd and turned him into an archer, but neither was really able to stand on the front line in the late game unless I was taking multiple turns in a row.

Valor Emblem

I, too, am excited to play this game.

I didn't lose any characters, and I didn't savescum to get good levels. My team had a lot of useless levels. On the other hand I also exploited the game to win.

My Unity and Nessiah both learned Again, and I gave them each a bunch of MP boosting items so that they could just back-to-back cast it and I could take four turns in a row at the start of a map. This helped a lot with keeping weaker team members from being killed in the late-game maps.

I also accidentally made Kloey into an untouchable beast with 45 attack, 38 speed, 35 defense, 16 magic defense.

She could have solo'd all of the final act, but that would've taken more time than using my full team.

Fire RMNblem

Okay, game cleared. I'll try to put up a review tomorrow.

Fire RMNblem

What?! I've been finding my way from location to location by painstakingly mapping out the tiles, and it's been working perfectly.

The townperson in question I think just said something about going north.

But if there's a 43% chance of just landing anywhere, I will keep going north until I accidentally land on the right spot.

Edit: Bug found. After talking to the spirit of the forest, I chose to warp out via the swamp graveyard. Then I went to the shrine in the desert. When I came out of the shrine in the desert, there were two Liberties on the world map, one at the entrance to the lost woods and the other outside the shrine. Both had full parties and both were movable. I moved the one from the shrine to the graveyard to the west and fought a battle there, and when I came back out the other Liberty was gone.

Fire RMNblem

Okay, I think I've got it figured out. It corresponds to the tiles on the world map. This would definitely benefit from a bit more explaining in-game, though.

Fire RMNblem

I mean, south south south south gets me out of the woods, but it doesn't let me progress. The only way forward is through the woods.

Fire RMNblem

Dyhalto, for the lost woods area, it's not clear how to proceed forward. I tried the "north, west, south, west" from the original zelda, but no luck. And I explored the only accessible town, but all they said was that I needed to go through the woods.

I have fought a lot of armored dudes by this point. What do I do?

Fire RMNblem

You were not kidding about getting creative with the battles.

Calunio's dungeon is a super cool design.

Fire RMNblem

Click new game, then alt+tab as soon as the intro scene starts.

Maybe it's a just-my-computer issue, so it's probably not worth worrying about.

This is the only bug I've encountered, and the game's been a blast to play.

Are these maps custom, by the way, or are they from FE Gaiden? Gaiden's one of the ones I never played, so I can't tell what's custom and what's from the original game.
