Final Fantasy 4 used a single generic sprite for all monsters (some guy in a robe), and that seemed to be adequate for most people. I'd say that in the interests of speeding development time, you should follow the same format.

It would be easy to make yourself; just trace over an existing sprite with a black outline, and fill in with grey. Or, use a characterset from the RTP with a hood on and edit the colors or something. It's actually pretty fun to get into making your own charactersets because it's the easiest art asset to make.

On the topic of capitalism then I got a gift certificate for Gamestop from my girlfriend's mother and a blanket from my mom. I bought my girlfriend's mom a present but she didn't give me one and I also bought my mother a television for which she was grateful. I also did not get a Christmas bonus from work even though my boss meant to give me one.

I also had many good times with relatives and friends but THAT IS NOT WHAT CHRISTMAS IS ABOUT WHERE ARE MY VIDEO GAMES???

I think it's bad that people care about mapping so much :(:(

RMD IS DYING

I think most of us have been busy with finals week and/or Christmas. Almost every member here is either in college or high school, and I'm fairly certain most of us celebrate Christmas, so it's not surprising that the forum has slowed down.

Also, a good half of us post almost exclusively while at work, and people tend to take time off of work around Christmas.
