Eternal Twilight
Hi. Just started playing this. I'm really enjoying the battles, and other game mechanics (equipment, skills, trophies etc), but I find the game a bit slow. Part of it is my computer and it lags sometimes, but even when it is running smoothly, I find all the conversations really drawn out. There isn't really a need for everyone to introduce themselves to a minor NPC (the little girl) or pause for half a second after every word in a spell (some of which are 5 words long). I wish there was a way to skip the dialogue.
Also, I think HARD MODE is a wee bit too hard. It took me about 4 tries to beat the 2 Imps, and now in the tunnels, normal enemies can kill my characters with 2 hits (they seem to CRIT about 70% of the time) even though everyone has unique armor in every slot. Considering there are usually 3 enemies, they can kill a character unless I get lucky. You also can't use Prayer outside battle, so if you are weak at the end of a battle your only option is items. I don't want to start again at NORMAL, because I don't want to go through all the talking and tutorials again.
Sadly, I think I will quit playing for now. I might come back to it later (like when I get a new computer) because it is a very unique and interesting game.

Thanks Liberty! That was fun! I watched most of the streams (afterwards, not live) and it was entertaining watching your reactions and comments on the games... and interacting with your cat.

2. Thanks Berry for helping Liberty find the second ending. Didn't want to make it too obvious, but not too hard either... not sure how well I succeeded.
3. On that note, the book in your house gives random hints, which might help find it. It also tells you about the dog and a training dummy outside your house.
4. Sorry you died on the last battle. I should have prompted you to save, or make some indication that it would be a harder battle instead of using the same sprite.
5. I made the fire spirits take 50% more damage from water, but guess they have too much magic def. Yeah, the Water Blast is kind of useless.

I liked the mapping, but yeah, you mostly just taunt throughout the whole game. I managed to keep the other guy alive through the whole thing, but abused the treasure chest bug(?)

Great game! Loved the concept! I managed to get the octopus after reading the ending hints. There aren't that many places to go and not much water, so it wasn't that hard to know where to look.

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. Almost all the graphics are the default ones from the engine though, plus some which are mentioned in the credits. This was my first project and mostly learning how to use the program. Not sure where I want to go with the story, so it's on hiatus for now... working on something else at the moment though.
[RMVX ACE] Stupid Battle System Question
I know in MV you can set the condition to TURN 0 and it will do the actions before the first turn. I think VX should be similar.
