I see no reason to argue with that logic, and I really enjoy the output from members here, for the most part, if the race for MS contributes to that in a positive way then you're right, it is a good thing.

Do people really care that much about MS? I mean other than this thread and our monthly, 'I moved up the rankings' 'my MS is bigger than your MS' "I'm coming for your place on the rankings <insert name here>' stuff and the occasional 'I got into the 3K, 5K, 10K club where's my cookie/cake/key to the executive washroom' status update?
I mean all of the above is fun and can be entertaining to read/engage in, but do people actually take their score seriously? Mine is almost all from reviews at 50MS a pop (with the exception of some from a couple of games I aided/tested) if Kentona decided that we'd hit some arbitrary level of review numbers and no longer wanted to reward that activity quite so well and dropped it to 25 MS I'd lose almost half my MS overnight. That would drop me out of the 'top 10' but it wouldn't change how I interacted with the site one iota, and I'd like to think it wouldn't change how anyone interacted with me here.

Cool, then play I shall, but you might want to remove the commercial tag on the gamepage. Some people avoid commercial RM games, so you might be cutting into your player base.

Yeah that's definitely in the middle eastern/Arabic region area, no missing it. I'm not feeling this one too much though, it comes across as quite strident. I can't see it as a desert theme, though of course deserts can be harsh as this piece is, but it almost needs a softening melody applied to it, something to mimic the endless wind that deserts have. Something that rises and falls and weaves through the heavy instrumentation you've got going.

Nautical feeling to this one, but that's just the background, I'd say this fits a souq somewhere, near a port. It's got quite a bit going on and I could interpret that as the different sights/smells/sounds in an open air market. It ends a little too quickly for my taste I'd have liked to see where it could go.
Pancake - Mountain Fortress
The pan flutes definitely add that mountainous feel, they always remind me of the Andes, but nothing else in this feels South American, more middle European. Which given the title I imagine makes sense. I could see this being played as a journeyman travels towards the gates of said fortress, there is some trepidation here, a little sliver of fear, but not overwhelming.

So, I have just learned that Cate Blanchett will star as Lucille Ball in an upcoming biopic.
Yeah, I just don't see Blanchett playing Lucy.
She can do comedy quite well (see Bandits & Thank God he met Lizzie), and anyone that can play an all powerful Elven Queen and make me believe it can pretty much convince me of anything.
