I just had this idea publicly skewered by a group of mothers who thought I was talking about a baby food trademark...
In November I'm re-writing an old book of mine about the World of Food. Formerly, and randomly, it was named 'Pinfoot'. Had no reason to be called that, and unfood related. Bleh.
The new name I was going to use was 'Pabulum'
Why would they have a problem with Pabulum? Is it a name of a baby food brand somewhere? I don't buy baby food so I have no idea. Also, do you care what a bunch of obviously whiny sorts think? Are they your target audience? Do what feels right for you, it's your book.

I'm not actually that fussed about the money, but it's the fact that, despite my chasing, they haven't bothered paying anything that bothers me,
So: Would I be a horrible person if I changed my Wi-Fi password just to get them to pay?
Nope, you wouldn't be. Though you could do an interim step if you felt like giving them another chance and either move the router so they get a degraded signal, or turn it off for a while when they are home. Then when they pop around to ask if there is a problem, just say you'll check it out and bring up the fact they still owe you in a way that makes it clear if they don't pay you won't fix it.
If that doesn't work, change the password.
