This reminds me of a really lame joke.

An Aussie goes to America to visit a friend. On the way to his friend's apartment he crosses this one street and almost gets hit by a car. The driver stops his car, gets out and angrily asks the Aussie "Did you come here to die?" and the Aussie says "No, I came here yesterday."

But today is not that day.
