I like to smell people :).
I have an absurd fashion of littering my game creations with unnecessary light-maps and overlays.
I am fond of RPGs and first-person shooters, and have an astounding joy for horror games.

Lighting Question
Exactly what Blindmind said. Not much else I can add to that other than if you're really unsure on how to position it, check a few games that use them (such as Muse ( http://rpgmaker.net/games/902/ ) or Ruptured Souls ( http://rpgmaker.net/games/794/ )), and try and figure out how they do it.

I dislike the default RPG MAKER 2003 sand-storm weather effect :(. You should do a scrolling picture :).

Nah, it would be better if he didn't have an estimate. I hope you take your time with this Feld. I WANT TO SEE A KICK-ASS GAME.
RM Tool
Well, I've never used RM Tool before, but I've heard of these errors/problems that others get (most notably the one that you mentioned where it deletes files you are using in your project). I would just suggest you do it manually (even though you've said it would take a long time). Start with the MP3s that you aren't using (that is, if you use MP3s), as they usually make up a majority of a game's file size. Trust me, it's worth it (I wouldn't leave my project to the hands of some program anyways).
