Final Fantasy Blackmoon Prophecy II

Welp...I've hit a wall. Not sure what I can do to progress.

At the "everyone faces a trial" section. Loxley is level 38. She has literally no hope of beating her trial or the training fight.

The Whale Whisker doesn't up magic as much as it says it should.

Silas' fourth limit break only costs 70.

Also
Vera's
first one is only 50.

I'm in what I assume is the late game right now -- couple dungeons after getting the airship, and I really need to say the balance in this game is all over the place, IMO.

The early game is a complete pushover, with the definition of a difficult fight being a boss that gets to attack twice.

From Sapphire's join point up to
The Tritoch fight in the mountain
all feels pretty good. Decent challenge from bosses, but random fights aren't too hard or too easy.

After that though? Oof.

You basically need to be hasted at all times in order to prevent enemies from doubling or even tripling you. Trigger is my current fastest character, with over 350 Speed and Auto-Haste and he can usually get one attack off before all the enemies go, and usually end up killing Jasmine.

It gets worse after that, too

enemy HP totals are absurd. You basically need to spam Bahamut to kill anything, and given his cost, that basically means you're downing Ethers and Turbo Ethers every two to three fights.

I don't think I'm underleveled. I've been fighting every encounter and not using the Moogle Band. I'm around 34-37 for everyone and it just feels like I'm missing something.

The Dream Blade and Francisca don't increase Magic like the description says.

Silas' Blade Gleam can be parried with a shield.

Trying to enter the Rosetta Stone Exchange in Barrington leads to the Accessory Shop instead.

You can occasionally buy items in a pawn shop for significantly less than they sell.

Just now, I found Dew Drops for 32 each, and they can be sold for 100 each.

On phone again, so there may be typos.

I'll whip up a copy of the world map without any events running on it for you guys to see if that helps. If it doesn't help, then a script is probably to blame.

As for Tesla, what level did you get that at? It's supposed to be a higher level skill. It was added after testing ended, so I may have made a typo when I entered the level he learns it at. I mean, this is assuming that you're not powerleveling.

He's level 15 right now, but he hit that after the boss in question, so I probably got it at 13-14.

Final Fantasy Blackmoon Prophecy II

Um...so you may need to take a look at the power of Trigger's Tesla ability.

It just one-shot Carbunkle

edit: and is doing 7000+ to things not weak to Lightning

I think I may have found a bug in the biggs and wedge side mission involving the cards. After collecting 10 cards I return to them and it maintains the same dialogue. Also after starting the bacchus garrison quest and recruiting someone, checking the mailbox for the second time will reward you for the Ixion mission once again but with increased gold.
Hmm... their quests shouldn't even be accessible anymore. Guess that wasn't mentioned to me during testing. I'll have to look at that again.

Speaking of things that need removed, there's a crafting token in the inn at Mysidia.
