random thoughts
General (on hold due to glitches)
The game itself isn't very fun as not only does it rely on battles (which is expected since its based off such a old game)
but its also considerably buggy with missing sound files. a room with no exit and random teleports to different towns (which getting to them has no good way :( )
otherwise characters just exist.
the plot is standard classic rpg
and there isn't much else to say really its a simple game.

At the moment is needs to be fixed outside that...
i consider this a bad game but that's not as much the developers fault but the originals design.
its odd the king lets you save when you can save in the menu
i wonder why you need a key to leave the kings room. how did you get in?
maybe its intentional that skills don't have descriptions to keep the nostalgic feel of the original (i don't know what it was like)
but i prefer to have them.
the skill repel wears of and is called fairy water
navigating this world is inconvenient. at least the world map helps.
i noticed the signs on the world map are wrong. some examples
a sign north west of brecconary says its to the north.
and a sign south of koi says its to the south.
honestly the wandering npcs with many single line paths gets annoying. you can get blocked often

My biggest complaints with this is the...way the dialog is worded could be improve.
most of the words are spelled correctly and used correctly.
its just how its said is often awkward which breaks my immersion every other sentence.
The other is a few moments which question the characters intelligence (refer to red notes)
other then that. i loved the mapping,plot and character personality's (for the most part)
if the writing was better i would probably enjoy the atmosphere alot more.
and of course the art! very detailed and cute!
if this could just be polished to sound more natural i think i would really like this game.

i love the avatars! i assume the dev got them from somewhere.
the table scene picture is awkward tho. i could see the shy pink haired girl happening.
but the red head looking directly at the player like that is weird. she should be paying attention to the party o.o
the grammar needs work. its kills immersion.
Megumi must be a stupid character...she questions her friends if they can believe the demons story about it being a dream
but...its already been confirmed by them that they passed out.
and if this was a dream what good would asking people in a dream do?
and frederika. questions how they got into this situation despite the demon explaining that to them mere seconds ago...
the menu is beautiful :D

was a boring experience.
i would sooner put a gun to by head and pull the trigger then ride that ship in space!
adding the word space before everything doesn't help XD
love the battle sprites. so lively!
theres a typo on a root upgrade that gives 50hp and 25mp (mp>sp)

when you finally get to the room with the survivors. she said us 2 and 3 androids are the only survivors.
meaning 5 npcs should be in that room. but there are only 4

this was a okay experience. outside of anime i don't care much for Japanese culture.
some of their customs annoy me honestly.
that aside if there is anything i can say i enjoyed from this experience is that it is story driven so we don't have any battles.
that alone made it a nice refreshing break from the mundane experience that comes with most rpgs.
the visuals looked okay (considering the engine)

its not a bad experience and isn't long. its worth checking out.
if your inside a house when its raining and someone knocks you will hear it.
unless you have a sufficient distraction between you and the echo of the knock inside the house.
why are you asking for directions when he told you where it is?
do the old Japanese have some discrimination to colors like americans still generally do?
you can still hear whispers in the rooms when the guard is with you. wouldn't you open the door and find out?
how do you come to the conclusion that it was a dream when 4 other people have just seen the same thing?
she didn't even randomly wake up and be in bed! and then there is the kimono she is still wearing!

This will be short but ill start with saying i enjoyed this experience and found it entertaining.i also want to point out how thankful i am that this game gave me a nice break from battles which plague the community.
however there are plot holes,questionable details and things that are not explained well enough or at all.
i found my immersion being destroyed somewhat often the more i think about the details that are given to me that are supposed to make the story work.

still the execution of the story was interesting enough to continue with these flaws
and at various points i was surprised how much i was pulled into what was going on.
The game ended as a part 1 o a possible second part might be made in the future.
i would be interested in playing that if/when its released

Despite my complaints i would recommend giving this a shot.

unless he noticed after he went to the window. but why did he go to the window?
as the girl next to him said he should be doing work he was behind on.
worse, how is it you can think its a prank? in this case that's not a logical conclusion without leaving the class room
thy could even open the window and talk to them.
still there are so many people at these schools its impossible to imagine everyone just not moving as a prank.

only games and anime can make RPS epic!
but if their processing power is extremely high rather then seeing people appear frozen wouldn't it play out like normal but with more detail?
maybe i am missing something. but a reason in which the students need to play this mafia roleplay game is not presented.
to save the students in class? what danger are they in? why do the winners listen to these people at this point?
even worse there is no reason presented why they should take the game seriously. the mafia members could just tell the other team who they are and end the game immediately.
what purpose do they play for?
there is really large gaps in between saving. like you get out of the class room,get introduced to everyone,watch a video,the fainting scene,get the rules for the next game and even start the game and still have not be able to save.
The moment annas role was revealed was epic!

Hahaahah Tacet warns blake that they do not condone any violence when they forcibly drugged college students without their knowledge and forcibly detained them at school...
there are so many issues with how shrine works. but i don't want to go over them all.
so carter and tristian can travel through time? how was carter watching and communicating live with himself and the class?
unless he was watching the review but that still leaves the plot hole of how did they escape to pull this off?
and how did they fool them?
the last save point was way back when you were able to control your character and meet the 2 students
