I am against marriage as a means of taxation and deciding insurance. It is a religious institution and should not be involved in government.

Unfortunately, that will not change any time soon. And as long as that does not change, then any person who is seeking to have their love recognized by the government will have to be married.

In society's eyes, many couples are not seen as serious or committed unless they take that final jump into marriage. Gay people have as much of a right as any person to want their love to be recognized.

I would also like to mention that civil unions give less than half of the rights that full legal marriage does.

Also, considering that the majority of America is Christian and not Jewish, I fail to see what bringing up Jewish marriage dogma (which does allow gay marriage, from what I know, strangely enough) does to support this argument.

And finally, I agree with just about everything Boredom said, especially the thing about drag and that not all homosexuals are flaming fairy boys that waltz around in pink and rainbows complaining that they can't be married. There are plenty of "respectable" people (and I mean "respectable" in society's eyes: solid job, "normal-looking," etc) who are gay who would like to have the same legal rights as heterosexual couples.

The whole stink isn't about religion or little gold bands -- it's about legal issues.

Also, I would very much enjoy to see drastic site updates, WIP. I say that it would count for both this RS release and every one thereafter if it is drastic enough (hint hint).

I'd take one of mine, but one, I'm leaving the one I have now in about two days, two, I need to rearrange and clean the one I've got at home, and three, I don't have a camera. :D

There will be one, though. Eventually.

Also, damn, almost NO ONE has any room on their desks. I like having a lot of room so I can actually put things like papers and stuff on there. That way I can work on multiple things at once. Like I could have pen and paper on the desk while working with something on the computer. Makes life a lot easier, I think.

To topic, I personally find music of any kind to be my greatest inspiration for anything I do in making a game. As for work ethic... That's something that's not just a problem with me (hi craze <3) but just that I'm a sequential perfectionist, meaning if it's not perfect and done in order, I can't go on because it'd be out of order. Something I have to work on OUTSIDE of game-making.
