Ara Fell is finished.
author=BadLuckHaving a quality game + commercial would be success to many, haha.
I'm not there yet, but I hope the lofty view you have of this will come to pass!
Ohhhh, we're half way there!
Demo Updated with Expanded Intro
Three Ghostly Roses Demo Is Out
Thanks Unity! That should fix the small issues it had.
And I'm glad you're enjoying it! I look forward to seeing how it holds up in the end. =p

The Demo is Complete! :D
I just finished the demo. Great job so far! By far one of the best RPG Maker games I've played yet (or I should say one of the best first hours of an RPG Maker game haha)
The game is super professionally done and full of that spirit that makes games good in the first place.
I'll give some quick thoughts rather than review seeing how I'd rather do that when it's done.
The maps are well designed. The encounter bar is a great way to do random encounters and finding the sparklys to make it go down adds a certain depth to exploring the dungeons.
The menus and overall presentation of the game blow my mind. I can't imagine how much work that must have been.
The characters are super charming and they are designed with a wonderful quirkiness I've never really seen anything like before. They are quite well written and I love the well placed expression changes. I'm invested in them.
The battles are moderately fast paced with clever skills and a good enemy weakness mechanic. The two characters we see in the demo have super different play styles, so new additions to the party will mean a new freshness.
I like how the skill tree is done as well. Finding the currency for skills around the world is satisfying and new skill additions tend to add a great improvement.
I'm not sure if someone is making all original music for the game or not, but the soundtrack is pretty good.
I don't think I have anything to critique yet. As it's going, the game is turning out really well. Keep up the good work!
All in all, the game is a good showcase of how to be inspired by Earthbound without being a clone of it; this game is its own thing.

May Update - New Battle UI with animations!
Let the Graphical Overhaul Commence!
That was me with pixel art for years. Now I can just, do it. It's weird. I have no natural talent for it, just a talent for enduring the head smashes. Now everything comes with much less head smashing... until I eventually try to take it a step up in skill, haha.
The Demo is Complete! :D
In my eyes, commercial games need to be run by experienced people, have original graphics and music, and overall just be good. So pretty much, this game totally qualifies for it. Don't have to go free forever, especially when you put this much effort, haha.
