We're coming to take your heart ~ Persona 5 Discussion
I used Ryuji the whole game and he was consistently good! Attack up all is his saving grace in the end, but overall his good defense on top of good physical attacks were a consistent destroyer of foes.
I thought about the debacle more, so here's some spoiler tags about it! (major spoilers who haven't played)
I'm the type of guy who enjoys going back to older installments in series. P3 still has an interesting story I want to see unravel, as I know nothing about it thank god. Also, I'm super glad you deemed P3P superior because that was the hardest decision I made in months. I chose it so I could do it casually and whenever.
I'm also fine with equipment transferring to new game +. At one point I just want to see the social ranks unravel. If I wanted a huge challenge, I'd just new game it haha.

I totally felt Ryuji feel sorry for how he treated Morgana. I think those two had a brotherly rivalry that went too far because both of them had a hard time expressing themselves. When douchebag fiance kicked Morgana, Ryuji instantly screamed "Leave my friend alone!" or something similar. He showed his true colors for Morgana there. They mostly got along well since!
More about why I like him. Ryuji is the bravest character. He always goes right up to the villain and is not afraid to tell them what he thinks. The fact that he ALWAYS stood up to Kamoshida and ruined his whole life because of it says a lot too. Ann didn't until her friend almost killed herself. No teachers did. No parents. Only Ryuji. Of course until main character arrived. Yet in Ryuji's defense, main character had powers like instantly. Ryuji did it as a helpless kid.
His bravery remained the whole game. He walked right up to Shido when he was giving a speech in the neighborhood and had no shame in confronting him. Lots of situations like that.
I was worried throughout the game that Ryuji would accidentally betray everyone by being stupid about wanting to be famous, but he grew and that problem never happened. Then there was the amazing (and almost the saddest moment ever) at the end of Palace 7. He was more than willing to die to save everyone. He did not even hesitate.
As much as I liked Yosuke in P4, Ryuji is king in my eyes! He has the best palness of Yosuke, and the awesome fight style of Kanji. Those are my humble two cents on the foolish yet brave former track star!

Game was so good. I avoided internet long time to avoid spoilers.
My biggest complaint with the game is I felt it was structured EXTREMELY similar to P4. The stories were wildly different, but certain key points of the story were developed and executed in a very similar formula to it.
However, I loved just about everything else.
The palaces were the best person dungeons BY FAR. Best character overall as well. The story came out in the perfect time during the world, made the whole thing make a huge impact on me.
Ryuji, Morgana, and Sojiro are the best pals. (Red you need to reconsider your wrong opinion on Ryuji, he's the best! he more than made up for that debacle you mentioned) I thought Ann was great at first, but somehow every female character that came after I liked much more. (However I settled for dating her due to social rank conflicts. I had to max Proficiency for the one I liked best and that just wasn't going to happen in time.)
The game took me a bazillion hours and I felt like it wasn't enough. What an experience. I guess not being able to remotely max out all confidants on one playthrough is a statement of how one can never do everything they want to do in life.
Onto Persona 3 for me, I never beat that (or made it past like July) and it was always a great shame of mine. I decided to get it on Vita so I can actually have time to play it.

What was your introduction to making games?
I saw my oldest brother rent RPG Maker for the Playstation as a very little kid and it was the greatest thing I ever saw. He didn't let me play. ):
Then my other brother found the snes RPG Maker years later and I watched him progress through a goofy game he made. He soon found RM2k and that's where I finally got my chance to try it out. I was only 11, and the game was quite bad and never finished thankfully. I did work on it a good amount as time progressed though lol.
When I was 15, I decided to get 2k3 for myself as I actually had access to a pc. From then on, I never stopped. After many hours of poor games made, I ventured from 2k3, back to 2k, tried out XP, and went back to 2k again deeming it the best. Then VX Ace was released on steam and my then gf (now wife) bought it for me and here I am, many games later.

men just want a rpg who's nice
okay i managed to finally lift the friendzone status
it involved a lot of tears and yelling
now the game won't turn on and some other chump is playing and enjoying friendzone status
help me get friendzoned again

i keep finding rpgs who are nice to me but have random moments where they send a very hard ambush combo that wipes me out and loses me HOURS of progress and they ALWAYS like the jerks who cheat bettr
The money i spent on the new gorillaz album would have been better spent on crack cocaine. By far the worst album, only slightly better than The Fall.
If you don't mind a crazy Jamaican guy singing, the lead single is a good place to start (mostly cause of the awesome music video)
My favorite of the album:
Overall great song/easy to listen to single:

If one wants to play Amort for a stream, don't forget to download the most recent version if one wants less game breaking possibilities. (just made a small update today to fix some things that were bugging me)
However, the Perception during moving event = crash will be fixed very soon (today or tomorrow). I would have waited to update until that was implemented, but I don't know when the stream will be haha.

You guys are killing me. Humanz was really good! Just needed more Albarn singing. Lots of songs were super good. It also takes a few listens to "get it". We Got The Power is a beast. As is Submission and Andromeda. Saturn Barz super grew on me after a few listens. Momentz is a rally fun song that goes starts somewhere and takes some wild turns. I can go on like this about all the songs.
