RMN's (New) Favourite RM Games Of All Time Thread (2016 Edition)
I won't rank games if they are demos and if I have not beat them.
1. Brave Hero Yuusha
2. To The Moon
3. Remnants of Isolation
4. Legend of Shenja - Genesis Innocens
Those top 3 are pretty damn good. Legend of Shenja was a game I played when I was like 14-15 back in the good ol' days when I posted on Gamefaqs a lot and Sky Render pretty much mentored me. I learned a LOT from him and that game as well. Fond memories of it. Super surprised he had the patience to deal with the obnoxious asshole that the 14-15 year old version of me was.
Super honorable mentions of demos I played and thoroughly enjoyed:

Games that I have yet to beat but are definitely great experiences so far:

Luxaren Allure

I just watched my game on the stream, that was hilarious. I should have made it more clear that Willpower is an infinite item and I should have let a save before the three decisions, haha.

I gave Red_Nova my in depth thoughts, but I think I should say something here too.
Prayer of the Faithless demo was extremely promising. Great characters, story, and overall writing. Engaging battles, probably the most thought out move sets for each character on this site. Amazingly done character portraits (as we can tell on the character page, but honestly I liked them even more in game.)
My biggest critique so far is about the tilesets, which I think are charming, but needs plenty more work upon.
If you haven't already, play it. Likely a future feature game, assuming Red Nova doesn't die again.

RMN 9th Birthday Bash!
That was a lot harder than I thought it would be. I had NO TIME to do anything. I should have gone sillier and smaller. BUT, it is what it is. Should be a fun few minutes to play haha. I was right around 3 hours. Not sure JUST how long it took.
Using RPG Maker 2000 again made me realize just how much better VX Ace is.
On my entry, I made the songs prior to making the game. I reserve the right to possibly use the songs for another game one day if I feel the need.

It's funny how this game works. I used the original version of this game as a jumping off point for Cope Island then I used Cope Island for a jumping off point for the new and improved version.
In an ideal world, I would have had animated battlers to visually show weaknesses, but alas that will not happen this time around. With that said, I definitely agree. I think the first one on boss 1 indicating that it is time to use the uppercut is good, but I think I should tweak the rest of the dialogue to give the player a chance to figure it out themselves.
I showed a lot of the hand in the last cutscene of the demo, but there is plenty story left coming up, haha.
