WHAT ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT RIGHT NOW?

Lesson learned: Don't consume too many soft drinks. Have water instead. It tastes good, it's healthy and you'll never have to worry about accidentally getting awful "Diet" versions. Plus, it's as cheap as... well, uhm... water.
P.S.: wildwes, what did you do to your profile text?! Come on, can't you be nice to yourself for once?

but Neversilent it's true see I'm proving that I'm an idiot right now by not drinking healthy water :P
besides I'm mostly kidding about being an idiot anyways

After reading a few articles I've decided I need to sit myself down in front of RPGmaker and do some work!
Maybe I'll grab a soda while doing it!
Then perhaps cook some tacos.
Then check RMN again for Gourd's action.
Then lament at my lost headphones a bit.
Then maybe I'll open VXAce!

@wildwes: Say what you want, I don't think you're an idiot. Deal with it. ;)
@seiromem: Just remember, you will have more Makerscore once you do things. (In other words: Stop procrastinating and start gam making, you slacker!)

I went to the Coke machine to get a Coke, I PRESSED THE COKE BUTTON (not the Diet Coke button) and got a DIET COKE.
WTH is this???
This Diet Coke tastes weird. At least Diet Dr Pepper tastes SORTA almost like Dr Pepper. This doesn't taste like Coke at all.
It's like this one time when I didn't put any money into the machine, pressed the lemonade button and lemonade came out.
I had an idea! I think I can make some half-decent graphics for it!
Time to load up Paint.net!
...
...
It takes 30 seconds to paint a pixel.
I think I'll wait till Christmas where I'll get a laptop that isn't a pile of shit, dedicate it solely to Gam-Mak, and get cranking! In the mean time, I'll work on my concept.
Hold me to this, or else! Oh, and there's Castles-Maserpiece 2 I need to work on...

Most artificially sweetened things use Splenda these days. Don't drink it. Splenda is made in a toxic soup combining the maltodextrin and dextrose molecules (both of which are some of the most unhealthy sugars you can eat) with chlorine. Unlike salt, which is a combination of the poisons sodium and chlorine. You see, chlorine and sodium form what's called and ionic bond. Ionically bonded, these toxins actually become beneficial to the human body. Of course, like anything, too much salt can be harmful (except it doesn't cause high-blood pressure. That's proven.).
Makers of sucralose (the drug compound that is euphemistically called Splenda) defend their lab creation by explaining that the chlorine has ionically bonded with the sugar, and because it's made from sugar, it can't hurt you anyway. Clearly, these people have never heard of a covalent bond. When chlorine is bonded with sugar, it creates a covalent bond, which creates insecticides, pesticides, and herbicides. Not exactly something you want to be drinking.
In the case of chlorine, this covalent bond creates a molecule called organochlorine. Just to be clear on what organochlorine can do to you, Agent Orange was an organochlorine. It's fat soluble so it invades every cell in your body. Oh, and if you've got enough of it in you, you can pass the illnesses that it causes on to your children.

McNeil asserts that their studies prove it to be safe for everyone, even children. That’s little assurance. Learning from the Vioxx debacle which killed tens of thousands, we know that studies can be bought and results fabricated.
If safe, sucralose would be the first molecule in human history that contained a (organochlorine) fit for human consumption.
In case you're wondering, the FDA approved sucralose without conducting safety studies.
It's in everything now. Look for sucralose on the ingredients list. If you see it, ask yourself, "What's worth more: not wasting a buck and poisoning myself, or throwing this shit in the trash?"
I'd wonder about the most toxic forms of sugar. At least dextrose .. I'd argue fructose would be worse. But just as a sidenote.
Dextrose by itself would make your bloodsugar skyrocket and then sink to a low (not good), but what would be the issue aside from that I wonder?
Or are you referring to the production process?
Diet-stuff is rotten stuff. But soda is an issue on its own

Surprised I could still remember those chemistry terms. I don't really care though since I hate soft drinks anyways. Most of them tastes like crap and having to burp every time you drink them is not fun.
Did anyone post this yet? The only ones who I'm satisfied with was the glasses-girl and Mikasa (one who's gonna play Mikasa looks good, but idk, she wasn't what I had in mind?) Casting of Eren and Armin looks bad (what happened to Armin's hair color??) and I honestly thought the one who was playing Sasha looked like a guy haha. Best of all was the extremely awful lens flare in the photos, they look so hilariously bad! :|
Not just soft drinks ivoryjones, but yogurt, candy...if it's sweet, companies sweeten it with Splenda.
And yeah Kylaila, you're probably right about fructose, but dextrose isn't much better. If you don't want sugar, stevia's probably your best bet. It isn't artificial, it isn't sugar, and it doesn't taste too strange. At least I don't mind sweetening my tea with it. I live close to a store that carries diet products that use stevia and some of those can taste pretty odd. I can get used to most of them, but I'll never touch the stevia orange juice.
As for soda, I've cut that out of my diet.

Well, considering fructose is essentially just fruit sugar and found in apples and other fruit, trying consume none of it would not be a good idea either. It's the amount that makes the difference, and unfortunately, it's used excessively in a lot of (junk) food.
What I'm thinking about: I've been working on a review for almost ten days now and I still haven't finished it. I just seem to be unable to concentrate on it. Freakin' writer's block...

I'm thinking about how it's too damn hard to find a Starly horde and even more difficult to find one with the hidden ability.

The rarities of certain hordes is ridiculous in Pokemon X and Y. Like, what's the flippin' point of making Ekans rare? It's so not worth it.
author=DudesoftI loved this one, both because you had STAT POINTS and EQUIPMENT and a pool of points, but also had to pick a FIGHTING STYLE, and then it was just a debate on who'd win based on your evaluation of the relative stats and styles.

Man, RMN has SO MUCH GREAT STUFF that if I seriously made an effort to play every good game on it, I would never be able to do anythiing else.
So I just learned what "bgcghxmbbgj]" was, and it happened in this thread. I had a good afternoon laugh just now.
I must admit, bgcghxmbbgj] was quite profound. I think my whole outlook on life might have been changed by this.

And so the revolution begins.
EDIT: So, I want to have a system where every time you move (press the Up, down, left, or right arrow key) a variable goes up by one... how would one do that without a script?

You'll need four variables, two for the character's X position and two for their Y position. You'll have one set of X and Y always checking where the hero is, while the second set is going to remember where you were last at. If the two X or Y variables don't carry the same value, have your step counter variable increase by 1.
It will look something like this (example is 2k3 because I'll be damned if I waste more time than I need to on anything else):
