RMN ISLAND: YOU CAN STILL JOIN, MMKAY
Posts
author=DudesoftYou have to choose where your character lands, then do survival stuff. Game Master decides what outcome your actions have.
I still don't know what this is.
Ally with people or viciously murder them. Get a ex-ex-monkey sidekick that shits every five minutes or something.
Unlike most other forum RPGs, there's no real story at first. You're just stranded in an island, and the story is created by players' actions.
Is this too vague for you?
okay then. I am a mummy , I waked up in a dark cave knowing nothing from what time or place I am, I see a book in front of myself.
"read the book".
(edit: It's how it suppose to be right?)

Yeah, but you still haven't chosen where your character is located.
Choose a location from the map.

yes. both in instruction and also in actual premise. What is the GM even doing if the players are making the story, basically repeatedly replying to themselves. just saying yes or no to actions arbitrarily?
huh what map?
edit: och it was filtered, i saw it by Freegate.
I am in a cave in CLEVELAND
edit2:yes the command is "read the book"

Also I land in Kansas. I am a moe anime girl. I immediately scavenge for supplies in my immediate area ( I have no idea what it looks like (possibly it looks like cool place(with many swimsuit babe)))
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

OK, I suddenly appear falling from the sky into the ocean about a hundred yards off the shore of REGICIDAL STATE OF ASS-SPOONING. I am wearing full cowboy duds. I attempt to spin into a diving pose so that I can land safely in the water and swim to shore, where I will simply take stock of the lay of the land for now and try to determine what kind of place I'm in.
I randomly appeared sleeping in Kansas. I don't know who I am. And, yes, I put myself in Kansas so when I leave Kansas, I can say, "I'm not in Kansas anymore!"
author=CAVE_DOG_IS_BACKGM determines the outcome of the actions. Like, if you decide to explore the jungle for squirrels to kill and eat, the GM decides whether you horribly fail or succeed.

Also, you CAN perform more than two actions on one turn.
I'm still waiting for Gourd Clae's command. I'll be the GM for the first round so he'll get a bit of example.
how many actions can I do/??/ an infinite amount? how does GM decide these things ?_?
Well, let's say 5 is the limit. I dunno, as long as you don't do way too much stuff and break the rules.
GM decides the outcome with a standard six-sided die.
1) Critical failure plus major backfire
2) Failure
3) Partial success
4) Success
5) Epic success
6) Success plus backfire or collateral damage
As taken straight from LockeZ's old forum RPG.
I'll actually make the GM feed right now.

I have four things under my name in the OP. Are they all actions? SHould we number or bold our actions?
Also, I am a robot now. I changed mind. The twist is that I am entirely unaware that I am a robot so I think I have to eat and drink and do human things.

how about this, each aditional action lower the odds so first is usual dice, next have -1 roll and so on, also I think some action need two dice throw right? a sword of 1d12 need two dice for its outcome.
GM FEED TIME
ROUND 1
Our survivors have landed in the various parts of RMN Island. Possessing no means of communication to the rest of the world, they have decided to settle for now.
Here are the outcomes.
LockeZ:
Partial Success (3)
You manage to swim back to the shore while wearing cowboy duds. However, you're severely exhausted from that swimming, and it seems that a dead mutated dolphin has been clinging onto your leg.
You're stranded on the island, with nothing but your wet cowboy duds and a dead dolphin, which is too dangerous to eat because dolphin meat contains high levels of mercury. However, all sorts of vegetation got attached to your cowboy clothing, and thus, the Cowboy Duds became Ghillie Cowboy Duds, giving yourself +2 to stealth rolls while in jungle or water. You're still exhausted, so you have -1 to combat roll until the third round.
Items:
1x Cowboy Duds --> Ghillie Cowboy Duds (+2 stealth roll while in water or jungle)
1x Dead Mutant Dolphin
Status:
-1 Combat Roll
+2 Stealth Roll in Jungle or Water
In the shores of REGICIDAL STATE OF ASS-SPOONING
A ghillie cowboy dude. Has an unshaved face and seemingly stern looking face.
CAVE_DOG_IS_BACK
Success plus backfire or collateral damage (6)
Your scavenger hunt on the shore brings bountiful loot, such as 4x MRE (Meal, Ready-to-Eat) 1x lighter and 1x Scoped Hunting Rifle with two magazines.
However, the scoped hunting rifle is not in pristine condition, so it only brings +1 to combat roll instead of the usual +2.
You see some swimsuit babes, but upon looking at them with your rifle's scope, they turn out to be rather creepy redneck ladies in moldy swimsuits. Their lips are covered in blood and they appear to be yelling gibberish, all while swinging axes and baseball bats around.
Unluckily, they spot you and are now running towards you.
Items:
+1 to Combat Roll
+4 MREs
+1 Lighter
+1 Scoped Hunting Rifle in shabby condition (+1 Combat Roll)
Status:
In Kansas.
A moe anime girl that is unaware of her robothood.
Meisam
Failure (2)
The book appears to be a pretty fucking huge survival guide. Upon opening the book, you notice that it also doubles as a survival kit. Unfortunately, the book is written in an extinct language and the survival kit is completely empty.
Status:
Currently lives in a cave in Cleveland.
A mummy wizard.
Geekman:
Failure (2)
You wake up in Kansas, not knowing who you are. You just stand around, until you notice Cave Dog. You also notice that some aggresive people are running towards him, and you might be in danger too.
Status:
In Kansas.
Reginald T Chinchillington XVII
Success (4)
You spelunk the jungle for a suitable stalwart manservant. You come across a small patch of grass that has not been overwhelmed by vegetation, and a weird sponge with eyes and mouth seems to be sitting in the middle. The yellow sponge notices you and says "BEARP" as a greeting. While it seemingly understands english, it is unable to speak it. You ask its name and offer it the job of servant.
Its name is GRABBLEWARB and it accepts your offer.
GRABBLEWARB has several viscerated dead monkeys in its tiny backpack, so it seems that GRABBLEWARB is an able hunter (+1 to Combat rolls)
Status:
In the jungles of Baconic Bay
Companion: GRABBLEWARB the Yellow Hunter Sponge (+1 Combat Roll)
Items:
3x Mutilated Monkeys

Actually, maybe I am not doing that. I attempt to...befriend the natives by swinging my gun around and yelling gibberish.

So, am I in a tribal village? The outskirts of a futuristic city? A jungle? A swamp? A desert? A fishing dock? The lip of a volcano? The middle of an ancient Spartan battle being endlessly reenacted by ghosts tied to this mortal realm because they died dishonorable deaths? An open portal to hell? Is it snowing? Raining? Is there a street vendor selling hotdogs within viewing distance? Do the hotdogs have relish?
My second action last round was to ascertain my surroundings and apparently I forgot to do it. So I will try again.
Ascertain surroundings. Stealthily this time though. Specifically, attempt to locate any settlements.

LockeZ, you swam to the shore and you are still there.
Meisam, what is "blink" supposed to do?
Meisam, what is "blink" supposed to do?
Blink?, in a blink of an eye you go to a place nearby :P, short range teleport but faster and easier to cast.
