@Yellow MagicYes I'm sure, why else would I say it? Besides, maybe you can propose some insight of asking 10-seconds-or-less questions? This isn't a Q&A, it's an open discussion where viewpoints are shared equally. It's not a one-way street, there's 2 lanes and they have opposite ends. Contribute to yours.
I find it very strange that you post that the aim of the game is for your team to win, while at the same time posting stuff like:

Without explicitly mentioning Independents, who don't have teams. Are you an Independent?

Well, it's better than picking someone to lynch and accidentally picking a townie (which is extremely likely since the townies far outnumber the mafia right now). Like Liberty said, that'll just lead to two (or more if we have a serial killer around) townies dead in one day.
So uh, basically what Liberty said.
Even if two people died, that would lead to an increase in the number of suspects, though? There's nothing to lose by lynching IMO - we either get lucky or we get more info.

Sorry, I didn't mean to be rude, I just want to be sure we're pursuing a mafia or independent, before lynching them.
P.S. : You already identified that quantity? You played this before don't you?
YM is obviously bluffing. There are no abilities that allow for you to learn more than one person per day and there's not much to build off just yet. At most he has suspicions based on what people have said so far. That's far from concrete proof.
I have no plans to undo my nolynch, but I do agree that discussion is a good idea for the first day. Try to get a feel for each other and scope out who we might think are town/indie/mafia. It doesn't cost us to spend the time sniffing out the mafia among us, after all.
