I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

You can already revive Aerith by equipping a fully mastered Revive materia and continuing to gain 15 million extra AP on it until you learn the hidden spell Life 4, talking to her ghost in the church 255 times while carrying a Dream Harp you dug up from the excavation in Bone Village, and then gettin four tissues from losing at Battle Square and using them next to Aeris's bed to make Cloud start crying
They should dig through old Internet rumor sites, find the most ridiculous stories, mash them together, and at the very end of whatever batshit insane instructions they come up with you... don't revive Aries and just get an achievement "Get Over It" worth 0 gamer score and doesn't count towards platinum.

But what happens when they make it so that you can revive Aerith?
Most likely she'll continue to be a useless party member and a terrible, boring character.
I'm excited for the changes a remastered soundtrack could bring, but it would be cool if they had an option to leave the original on or something. Anxious Heart is one of my favourite video game songs of all time, and the rest of the FF7 soundtrack is just... It's so unique and mysterious/surreal. It would be hard to do it any better, I think.

I wouldn't call someone who can fully charge up ther party's Limit Breaks almost at will and grant the party invincibility and full healing useless!
But nah, they wouldn't revive Aeris(th). In the canon she's dead, and her being dead is the only way the narrative works, so they're not going to mess with that.

Aeris can charge limit breaks?
I'll be honest, the only limit break I ever got for Aeris was Healing Wind, and the only thing I ever use her for is the Demon Wall battle. I've never even seen her other limits before.
One her of Limit Breaks, Fury Brand, yeah. It charges the party's Limit Breaks to maximum.

I don't think Aeris was a boring character at all. I liked her a lot. She was both mature and mischievous. This created an interesting dynamic with the other characters. The fact that she's older than the main hero always seemed nifty to me, but I suppose that might be because she is not his "true" love interest.
Last time I played, I was wholly disinterested with Vincent; while his character does give an interesting perspective into Sephiroth's creation, his actual presence in the story felt kind of weak - but I guess that's because he is a mentally and emotionally tortured freak of science, so he's kind of dead inside.
As for the soundtrack, it is probably my favourite of the series. It's uniquely cheesy yet haunting... so I guess I like it for similar reasons to Pizza.

Yeah, FF7 had a great soundtrack. I hope they don't change any of the tunes compositions. They can and should be remastered with orchestral or synths or whatever music people do to make music, but the actual tunes should stay the same.

Considering chocobo's were an integral part of the storyline (the Gold Saucer prison business, chocobo farm, getting past Midgar Zolom, breeding your own chocobo and racing as one of the main minigames), I'd imagine so.
