That.... looks really good. The smaller puddles don't quite seem to fit, but the rest of it looks great.
I'd tap your battle system, Craze. :<
Max: I'm pretty sure the music was overlayed for the video, since you couldn't hear any of the sound effects. At all.

The ban on rasta in currently in effect in the Draconis constellation. That's right, I'm making a game about a constellation.
trance: Needs more :>

It's supposed to be absurd, I guess! I'm glad you got the feeling that it's post-cataclysm because, well, it is and it isn't. (You see, the problem here is that I'm making a story/world that is WAY over my head... I'm going more for ATMOSPHERE and FILL-IN-THE-BLANKS than RPGSTORY #252621168).
Characters don't have many skills because it is the FIRST LEVEL and I don't want to totally explode the player's brain with extreme customization. I promise you, though, there are plenty of skills to play with!
I'll probably use those tracks somewhere... I'm not sure. I hate adding even six megs of mp3s to a game because I'm the RM* GAMES SHOULD BE REALLLLY TINY school. Right now I just have a bunch of kinda creepy kinda fun midis. As for battle animations, they're shrunk-down versions of the default ones for the most part... if you meant the character's movement, most of it is default with the CBS but I have a bunch of custom attacks and stuff that are used for different skills (my favorite customs being GARGANTUAN SMASH which zooms the attacker to GARGANTUAN SIZE, followed by one that is HEY LET ME JUMP INTO THE AIR AND LET LOOSE A BUNCH OF RANDOM ENERGY BALLS LOLOLOLOL).
Little Wing Guy: Reminds me of the creepy iridescent blue stratum of Etrian Odyssey. Way cool.

@LWG: Great map! Nice use of Rudra.
From my Halloween project (it is still going on, yes?)

May not be final (particularly the character)

That's got some flavor to it, iamnot. I'd ditch the swamp tiles for some pavement or something along those lines, though.

Well... it is supposed to be a swamp?
They kind of looked like swamp to me, my bad.

neat screen Yeaster. What games this for?
Vanity
Yeaster: Is she going to eat the player?
She'll try. ;)

Trying something slightly different from the standard type of world maps you see in most RPGs.
The slightly bigger nodes on the map represent event nodes. The event nodes are just little scenarios that pop up when you go over them. From something as simple to character interaction, to something as "complex" as a branching scenario... Well; I don't know if that's a good way to put it, so I'll give an example.
You walk over the node, and the event starts. Your party finds a mysterious brown sack in the middle of the road. You're two options.
1 - Leave it alone
2 - Pick it up and see what's inside
If you pick it up, a berserk hobo emerges from his BOX FORT and attacks you. After you beat him, you get a small assortment of useful items. If you choose to leave it alone, you naturally avoid the confrontation with the Berserk hobo.
That looks and sounds good, Nightblade, but the grey text above the destination image could use an outline or a box. It's pretty hard to read against the sepia map.

Good idea, and it's done.
Once I get more done I'll update the screenshot. I'm considering adding more details to the map itself.
I was going to say that the map itself is very very very blank.
As for the idea, I'm fine for it, it reminds me of FFT, the map just needs LOTS more detail and color.
