[MAFIA] RMN: WHEN THEY CRY (TEA PARTY)
Posts
I don't think cap is acting too strange tbh. As far as I can remember he always waffles. Not really worried about him. Was that everyone's only reason for voting for cap?
I'm more inclined to vote for muffle tbh. They got super defensive when lockeZ voted for them, then bickered with him for awheile, then suddenly was voting on the same side as him?? I guess LockeZ saying that Muffle wasn't realy suspicous disarmed Muffle a bit, but honestly that would've upset me more. Not make me go on a spiel about how he's a mastermind XD
(also I guess I should mention that, I don't think we should vote for lockeZ. He's bugging me sure, but if he's not acting like he did in a previous game he was mafia I'n probably off base. :/)

I understand your comments are meant to be a joke, but what can we say? This is the Mafia! Gourd it just sort of looks like you're trying to cause trouble with these slightly aggressive jokes, which is why you seem suspicious. I don't think it's necessarily it seems that you're trying to get serious too fast, but that the way you're replying seems as though you're trying to start fights among us.
tbf I wouldn't be *that* upset if I was lynched today. I think enough people acted erratically enough that town would have something to go off. Believe me or don't~ Also, if there were a post full of waffling this would be the one
It's kinda close to deadline and there aren't that many people on you anyway. I think I have reason enough to vote for you and I don't have to worry about you getting lynched too quick. So:
#Lynch muffle
I was trying to be super defensive, I was just trying to reasonably argue my case as to how LockeZ's joke lynch didn't make sense and the reasons why since at the time I thought he was serious. Since the main goal for yourself in the Mafia game is to defend your case. Or as far as I remember in my last Mafia game (which wasn't on rmn btw). However, I suppose I do understand why that'd make me seem suspicious, especially if the people here don't work the same way.
Perhaps I'm playing too seriously, but I'm more of arguing as a judge/defendant in a court case. When somebody votes to lynch me I give reasonable views and facts as to how or why the plaintiff could be false in why they're trying to lynch me. It's normal for me to defend my case. Meanwhile, the judge part is me giving facts/thoughts on why I think other people are suspicious as I had done with LockeZ (before finding out it was a trick) and you.
As I had said, the mastermind part was a joke. I wasn't even referring to him as the mastermind of the Mafia, I was joking about how he was the master of tricking me into such an obvious situation of him just trying to get me to interact more. As for voting along with LockeZ, I was following him, voting for Gourd was literally the first lynch I was going to make before I thought LockeZ was acting suspiciously. So I'm not sure why it seems like I'm being a copycat or in leagues with him.

Definitions one and four could both apply to this. It's not really something someone could know. Just feel.
Like I said, I could be dead wrong.

Okay...really? Muffle makes clear, definite claims about you and you say she's waffling. Glad I've got the dictionary open.

waf·fle
ˈwäfəl
informal
verb
gerund or present participle: waffling
1.
NORTH AMERICAN
fail to make up one's mind.
"Joseph had been waffling over where to go"
2.
BRITISH
speak or write, especially at great length, without saying anything important or useful.
"he waffled on about everything that didn't matter"
synonyms: waver, vacillate, equivocate, sit on the fence
"faced with this commitment, she waffled"
It's pretty clear that she's not waffling. She is, in fact making a valid observation that the rest of us may or may not agree with.

#Lynch muffle
Whereas voting for someone based on the premise that she's unlikely to be lynched is definitely waffling.

My point was moreso that Muffle felt the need to put a "I see how we could be wrong!!" statement in there. also it should be called pancaking
And, no, not wanting muffle lynched immediately is not waffling...? My goal was to let muffle argue her case. Thought that was obvious.
@muffle also you're fine muffle doesn't come across as aggressive. I was just surprised to see so much of an argument against my own.

Still don't understand the composed claim. Are you trying to say I'm preparing my responses in advance? Because, I mean, I was going to make that joke about wanting to marry the butler since the beginning if that's what you mean

Not super convinced. You even admit how your actions could come across as weird. Wouldn't be hard to lie about why!

No, that's hedging. As in hedging your bets. I did the same thing twice with talking about you but I don't see you accusing me of waffling. Admitting that you might be wrong isn't waffling. It's understanding that this is mafia and we're not going to be sure until you flip.
Gourd_Clae

That simply goes without saying.

Yes, because lynch voting someone to get them to talk and then defanging the threat totally works.

Remember when LockeZ said that when he was scum, he felt like had to be very careful about what he wrote and he would take a long time to post because of it? It just feels like that. I'm probably just looking too hard.
Except I didn't vote muffle to make her talk. You know I don't do that. I voted for muffle bc I think she's mafia. I just don't want her to die and therefore cut the day short or be unable to argue.
Plus, I didn't go after you because the hedging wasn't my only reason for suspecting muffle I have a whole other post before the one w/ my vote that has additonal reasons to vote for muffle. you also reacted to the accusation I threw at you earlier a lot less suspiciously. (you're misinterpreting me very heavily for no clear reason rn tho)

Er, where's the part where I took a long time. I'm guessing this isn't your main suspicion though.
So, you think she's scum, but you don't want her to get lynched too quickly. And this wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that the most votes are on you, right now, with Ozzy trailing. Yeah, I wouldn't want the day to end too soon, either.
What's to misinterpret? There's only one reason you want to vote on someone without lynching, and that's because you want them to talk. That's not something that has to be explicitly said. So, and I know I'm repeating myself, you think she's scum, so you vote for her, but you don't want the day to end too quickly?

it's too bad that neither of you are voting cap_h

Nah, I'm really not clear on why you think Muffle is the chosen one in the game. You know she's a newbie. Don't get me wrong. I've been snookered by a newbie before. I'm not saying Muffle's definitely not scum. You just simply haven't made a case beyond not agreeing with a post she made about you.
