Gensokyo...a land full of long forgotten creatures and magic. Many a day has gone peacefully in this land separated from the outside world, until one day a mystical artifact known as the Pandora's Box arrives and begins to wreck havoc across the land. If not stopped, then all shall be returned to nothingness. Join Reimu and her friends on a quest to defeat the entities of the Pandora's Box and save their beloved land from the forces of chaos!

This game follows a style similarly to the Final Fantasy series, incorporating a vast amount of abilities, monsters, and ideas from the Final Fantasy universe, while still retaining the Touhou nature of the main series. Various aspects of the Final Fantasy series incorporated into the game includes the Blue Magic system, Gil Toss, Scan, Steal, and Chakra in-battle, a Skill System similar to that found in Final Fantasy II, and the characters playing roles similar to various classes in the Final Fantasy series such as the Black Mage and Knight. However, this game also incorporates ideas from various other series, including Legend of Zelda, Valkyrie Profile, and Super Mario RPG. Players can control up to 4 characters at a time in any given battle, but can have access to as many as 30 playable characters, several of which are optional.

Final Update!!

Howdy all! So, it's been a good long while since I last posted, but at long last, I do believe the game is now finished! 99.99% done, at least, there's still a couple things that I haven't been ABLE to do (still looking for a spriter for a character), and there might still be bugs and glitches here and there, but overall, the game is actually done after nearly 12 years in the works!

As usual, anyone that is willing to testrun the game for bugs and glitches, feedback, etc. would be highly welcomed! But for now, I will consider the game "DONE". Which...in a way, kinda makes me both very happy and very sad...I don't know how to feel overall.

I encountered a game breaking bug, when i defeat Order with Iku and co., after going through the dialogue when Marisa becomes the leader of the group the game puts me outside of the Tengu village inn, it seems that the character is stuck in the wall of the inn. I can open the menu and nothing else. I can't move and the music from the previous dialogue scene is still playing. Please help.

Did you get the more recent version of the game? According to what I see in my database, it has you teleport directly in front of the Inn door...
I used the one that is on the final update post, the latest blog post. I am unaware if there is a more recent version.

Ohh, I am an idiot. Thanks and sorry for taking up your time. I've been enjoying the game quite allot ^^.
Ok, there seems to be another major bug here. After defeating the third magic stone, the water one (which took me a while), i watch the cut scenes unfold and i get teleported to pandemonium. But after the cut scene ends it seems that i am phasing through everything.
On top of that, if i enter some rooms in pandemonium some events trigger that are probably not supposed to, for example if i try to go towards the hallway to Marisa's and Hope's room an event triggers where Marisa is chasing Seiga and is talking about the last stone. Or when i go to the great hall an event triggers where Shinki is giving the party weapons.
I reset the game and tried to go to the supposed destination of the 4th stone but at some point random events started triggering and they kept on going, skipping major parts of the game.
I don't know what to do, please help.
....Well then. That's clearly not supposed to happen. Is this after....Frozen Fields? And where does it teleport you to at the end of the cutscene? If you can tell me or show me the very last line of dialogue(s), I should be able to find it and fix the issue. I've heard of this issue before, and thought I had fixed it, but guess I didn't...>_<
Yes it is after Frozen fields.It teleports me in front of the entrance of pandemonium. The last line should be from Death talking about how Order used to be. Please don't make me fight the water stone again, it took me an hour to beat that because i could't find the loop.
The simple way of fighting Water Magic Stone is to inflict statuses on it. It is not immune to Poison, Blind, Silence, Slow, or Disable. And if it's inflicted with Silence or Disable, I BELIEVE it's supposed to try to use Vortex to clear it all the time.

Also, after that line, does it not continue with dialogue when you're teleported to outside of Pandaemonium?? There's supposed to be more cutscene it seems.
Hmm, weird, it the Intel ability said that the crystal is immune to poison..., and is there a way to deal with the water veil ability? Whatever. But no, it just teleports me there and the glitch seems to apply, no other cut scene happens unless i go elsewhere.
That's Poison element, not Poison status. Intel never lists status immunities, because there's so many statuses. ^^; As for Aquaveil, there isn't at all. It lasts 30 turns, and restores 50% damage taken and returns 50% damage taken to the party, so you have to be careful with the damage you do unless you manage to inflict it with Silence/Disable first thing. This is where First Strike weapons may prove to be very VERY valuable for you.

Weird...and before it teleported you to the Order/Death scene, it mentioned having to go to Ruins of Vina, correct?

Weird...the switch for the next event should be triggered before teleporting...so that's what's causing the problem. It may be a bit, but may have to wait until I manage to solve that. It'll be a while since I've other things I need to deal with myself.

Hello again, I have restarted the game and i have reached back to the point of my old save file, the gamebreaking bug seems to be fixed, but i have encountered a different problem. The game tells me to go to the ruins of Vina, but it seems the path is obstructed. If i go to Marisa's room, a cutsene triggers that probably shouldn't. If i go to pandemonium's throne room, another cutsene triggers that probably shouldn't. I don't know what to do. Can someone help me please?

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.
