:Story:

Aeons ago, before planets and worlds came to be in the fabric of time,
Goddess Gaea the creator of Life and Rebirth, created six mystical elements
which made the foundation of a world. Nature, Fire, Water, Earth, Light,
and Shadow, these elements coalesced to form planets full of life and energy.

The world you live in is known as Lakria, a planet blooming with lush life
and full of wonderful mysteries and legends. Many inhabitants of the world
often give praise and thanks to Gaea for bestowing them such a life to live.

Until one day, the energy of the Lakria appears to be waning and the planet slowly begins to start dying. Everyone is in shock and is wondering what might be causing the planet's pain, they began to look up at the sky to Gaea for a miracle, hoping
she will once again visit the planet and bless it with rebirth.

:Spiritual Energy:
In the game, energy and spiritualism are heavily referenced throughout.
Spiritual energy pertains to the very essence that makes living things..
well, living. It is also the makeup of thoughts, emotions, and one's being.

There is positive Spiritual Energy, which is basically positive emotions
like kindness, optimism, purity, etc, which can really make one's aura
visible and shine. Negative Energy on the other hand is the exact
opposite, evil, greed, lust, doubt, and envy.

Spiritual Energy is also a source of which Magic is drawn from,
this allows one to use Magic depending on how great/type their energy is.

It is noted that in the world of Lakria, there are extremely powerful entities of spiritual energy that are capable of manifesting into physical material depending on what they seem to represent.

It says directdraw error
This might be because of a low resolution support problem. What you can do is try to run the game windowed first, then use the program I put that's included in the game folder called "anotherfullscreenmode.exe"

This should help with resolution problems. Are you running Windows 10 by any chance?
Yes I am using windows 10 i'll try your way out thank you

edit:
I tried it still does not work.
Hmm, interesting, I know it has to do with fullscreen resolutions that are no longer supported. Can you try right clicking the game file, go to Properties, then check the compatibility and check the box that says run in 640x480. I'm curious to see if that would fix it
The screen just goes all white and then black and then says direct draw error and that its not supported I'll just re-download it

Edit: Now it says: The RPG Maker 2003 Runtime Package is not present or registered".
For some reason, I guess this download didn't include this one line to fix that, I could have sworn I did.

Add that line that's circled in red in the RPG_RT settings file, and that should do the trick!

Thanks it works now
Awesome! I'm glad I could help you with that, just make sure you're playing the latest version of the game to avoid
some minor bugs and issues :) let me know what you think!

You don't need to quote everything for a one line reply.
Lol took me less than a couple minutes of getting control of my character to get stuck in a wall. Kept hitting submit 'cause this website wasn't doing anything and apparently it submitted each time. Damn this website's forum settings need an overhaul, no option to delete posts? What is this, 2002?
@alominus
Whaat? Lol where did your character get stuck at? I've not heard of this happening, especially that early into the game XD
I dunno if this has been reported yet, but I just thought i'd do so anyways. I followed the guide regarding the side quest to grow the last fruit seed, however, it seems that it's "stuck" in that I couldn't fully conclude it before sailing out of Mithros like the guide says that it could be, I dunno why though.

Hopefully this issue will be resolved if it's linked to additional side quest completion, but if not then it remains effectively "stuck" as I mentioned earlier. I'm already progressing on the Ishen branch of the story and, as I said earlier, i'm hoping that further side quest completions will finally allow me to fully conclude the fruit seed planting side quest.

Also, no matter what I do, I can't get Sailor Jones to respond to the Docking Manager's sidequest for some really odd reason, thus leaving it "stuck" like the fruit seed sidequest mentioned earlier.

EDIT: Managed to FINALLY have Sailor Jones respond after delivering mail to the Drunk Sailor, thus concluding the "Gather Payments" part of the sidequest, thank goodness.

Also, the guide completely disregards the "Dark Orb" item that is acquired in the Mirage Temple section, I had to scour quite a lot just to find what and where it was. Apparently it's in the left urn of two single-spaced-out urns in one of the upper floors of the temple, i'm just greatly relieved I actually found it then.

And yet another strange bug has occursed. For some reason, whenever I try to step on the light-blue emblem for the Shrink ability to be used, it forms an invisible cross-shaped wall centered directly on the emblem. I'm not kidding here, very odd indeed... :< Ah well, at least I managed to "un-bug" it enough by reverting to an earlier save before I noticed said problem activate so that I can get to all 13 Gaea shrines so that I can conclude that string of events and i'm pretty much at the area after the sixth "Essence Temple", so no major worries. It's still annoyingly-weird regardless, and rest assured, i'm not making this up. Hopefully it can be fixed since I would like it fixed after all.

EDIT2: Damnit... It seems the unused "Mystic Dance" emblem is also sufferring from this accursed issue. Again, I guess I can take solace in that i'm pretty much near the ending anyways, but still... I would really like this issue fixed somehow regardless, i'm not one to make things up when it involves my first run here, dead serious here.

...huh...? That's odd... I tried using the "Mystic Dance" ability in the top-right corner of the "invisible wall cross" and then I was able to undo the accursed bug, it also undid the issue for the "Shrink emblem" as well. Weird, but at least I managed to "fix" this issue at least, phew...
Hi. I made an account just to say that I love what I’ve seen of Lakria Legends and really hope to get the opportunity to play it on my Playstation.
Hi, i would really like to play this game, but there seems to be a huge issue, where the game dosnt open and a messege pops up saying "not implemented"(image below) which i cant quit from or close the aplication. Trying to move it makes more of these messages pop up. It almost looks like a virus. Only way for me to make these messages disappear is to restart my pc. Is it possible to be fixed? I hope it can be helped!

@HelljmprRookie
I have heard of that invisible barrier glitch, I tried so many things to fix it and it seems it doesn't always happen. I'll need to look at it again to see what's causing it exactly! Dark Orbs are also dropped by the skeleton enemies in the Mirage Temple as well :D the rest of the sidequests should work as intended! Yeah the plant one uses a timer and I'm thinking something might be messing up on that. Thank you for the insight and the help! Hope you still enjoy the game

@Smokeldoggz
Oh that would be awesome! It could be possible I believe, just need to wait for EasyRPG emulator to work with some plugins and stuff first ;p

@Kris
That's a very interesting error, I've seen it happen a few times with rpg maker 2003 and I'm not sure what causes it. It's not a virus in anyway, that I assure you! XD does that happen everytime you try to open it? :O
Hello, i didn't get a notification for your reply, im the guy with the not implemented error. I came back today because i really want to play your game, but the same error happens. I evn installed an rtp and still, same error. Where im i supposed to put the rtp? In the same folder as the game? Maybe rhe reason is something else? I have no idea honestly. This happens to ALL rpg tskuru 2003 games i try to play :(

Which one is the correct one to play tsukuru 2003 games, and this game especially? Please help me out, ive googled all day and found nothing :(.
After starting to play it, I can confirm that Fruit Grow quest has some sort of a broken trigger, and does not advance beyond Raspberry part for me.
The guide mentioned the Penquest should advance it, it actually does not, so you will never be able to advance the quest, before going to Dimora.
I'm already at Alfard, and it still remains stuck.
@Kris: Have you tried these?

I have done each fruit as soon as possible, so I can't give you another clue.

i have done all these steps, and yet the game remains unplayable. Am about to give up. It seems im the only one encountering so many problems. Can someone please tell me how they got the game to run? And also it no longer gives me the pc crashing error " Not implemented" which doesn't go away unless i restart my pc, but an error saying :

Okay this is an easy enough fix. Make a copy of a file in each folder (so for example, go to the music folder, copy one of the song files and name it YAMMM, then go to each of the other folders and do the same).

If another file is missing, do the same until you don't get that error any more. From the sounds of it, though, something happened to corrupt that file in particular.
