Full game download is now out!!

Alright ladies and gentleman, here is the full version of the game!
Tons of bugs/glitches have been worked, balancing has been updated,
along with many other features!

Testing this massive game has proven challenging
and while I'm sure it is pretty polished up, there may
still be some small little issues lingering around.

If you happen to encounter any problems or bugs along the way of your journey, please feel free to let me know so I can go ahead and fix it up! :)

Copy. Yeah it is actually yellow. Anyway I edited into my last post the note about the FMV in the demo that was absent in the full version...wonder if it was removed or if it was a bug.


Oh, the FMVs have been completely taken out of the game!
Are there sidequests not marked with "!"? I was given a key to a room in Mithros Castle by someone in the city, but I don't recall them having a ! over their head when I spoke to them. Or was that actually not a sidequest?

Also, it was raining when I was in the city, and it continued to rain once I stepped inside the castle. For the entire duration of my visit. Dunno if anyone else reported that, but may wanna have that process switch off once you step inside..unless the whole castle has no roof. xD

Finally, how do you properly transfer a save? Do I just copy save1.dyn and save1.lsd into the new folder? I'm mainly asking because I'm not sure if stuff like Achievements are saved in another file, outside of the main save file or not. Furthermore, how do you actually check what achievements you've unlocked? I don't see an option for it in game.

There are a few instances that aren't really side quests, like that one for example, so it isn't marked with an icon of any sort. The raining inside the castle is a new one, I haven't heard of that yet!

For transferring your save file, just copy those two files into the new folder, and it should work. Let me know if there's any problems with doing this! For achievements, you press the "1" key, it was only stated once in the beginning of the game, so I might need to add a little reminder for that somewhere too.
Testing the spirit scepter, I found some bugs.

If you open the beastiary while inside a mummy, you will revert to your normal character when you exit. Unfortunately I was climbing sand when I decided to test this and left myself stranded and had to reload.

If you play the flute while in mummy form (I tested with the nature song at a random location with no flute icon), you revert to your normal form. I also managed to crash the game once doing this, but I haven't been able to repeat it. You also revert to mummy form when transitioning maps. Could have stranded myself on sand using this method as well if I chose to, but I didn't want to repeat the same thing twice.

Also a hilarious graphical bug: If you play the flute while in mummy form, and then switch maps before the flute playing animation starts, the character will spin around for the flute playing animation instead.

You can cheat on the minigame where you have 3 hearts and have to dodge the rng spears. All you have to do is bring up the flute menu which renders you invulnerable.

And I think I'm going to need a new download. After the minigame, I open the coffin on the left in the same room, and it switches to another room and reveals a chest. It then switches back, but the game completely freezes. This will prevent me from s ranking, plus that chest could actually have something I need to progress, though I don't know for sure.


There could be others that I haven't found, but I think that should be the major ones.

That freeze after opening that coffin seems to be the same case of getting the waterproof buff for the flute, both of these issues have been fixed already. Perhaps getting the newer version of the game could prove better overall, I'm sure plugging in save files works as intended, I just haven't gotten a confirm on this yet.

Also, that chest scene happens not necessarily because of that coffin, but because you defeated all the skeleton/mummies mobs walking around in the dungeon, the reward isn't necessary to complete the dungeon however.

Yeah save transfer works as intended. I didn't want to download if nothing hindered my progress, but I consider an obstacle to my s rank a big enough reason for it. I have both the waterproof flute and the missing item now. Still missing one of the three idols for crafting the unique weapons (I have the snake/jackal, but missing the hawk). I'm not completely out of leads yet though, and I still have to finish the last area of the dungeon.

One thing I found funny; When I spoke to pixxy, she claimed that rainbow seashells are rare and can only be found in the physical round. I found some in the temple dungeon, but I don't think the inside of that dungeon actually qualifies as the phsical realm. No big deal but I tend to notice little things about that. Awesome man, sorry for the inconvenience, but I'm glad the save file transfers work. And yeah you're right about that, since the Mirage Temple is located in another realm lol nice catch though. The raining inside Mithros Castle has been fixed in the recent download too, it won't happen normally, but it will happen if it happens to be raining once you trigger the cutscene with Leon entering the castle.

As for the Idol of the Hawk, don't worry about scouring the place looking for it, it's one of the drops off of the dungeon boss :)
Ended up having to search the place anyways. According to the scene after I killed the boss, I missed 2 chests and 1 items. This suggests that I have one chest with an item, and a mimic to deal with. I found the chest with the item, but I cannot seem to find the mimic no matter where I look. I thought I even killed a mimic the other day but I can't say for sure. I might need some help figuring this out because I've went through the temple three times.

I think you may just be missing one chest with an item, upon looking through the dungeon, one of the chests in the dungeon doesn't give you credit for the chest, but it does for the item. Not sure on how I missed this, but yeah, sorry about that. I went ahead and fixed this already.
Would there be any way to fix this on my save file? It sounds like it's a chest I've already opened, and a simple redownload probably won't fix it since I'd need to actually open the chest.

Hmm, as of now, the only way would be to play the game through the editor, and change some variables, but I'm not sure if you'd want to go that route. And yeah, it's more than likely one that you opened already.
I didn't want to open it without permission, but that does give me an idea. I could go in and copy a chest event, and then remove the item and item check. Would be pretty tough to fix from scratch since I'd have to go in and look where everything is, but simply copying the variables and removing one wouldn't be difficult at all.

That could definitely work, and I don't mind really. Although, I will warn you that it'll be very easy to lose yourself working around the game at times lol, there's so much of everything! Just don't spoil yourself ;)
Sounds good. For now I just fixed the bug and will leave it at that so I don't spoil anything (plus I like finding things myself). I may poke around and see if I missed anything after I beat the game though. Just from that quick glance I can see what you mean about getting lost though lol. Seems to be a ton of events going on just on the one map I chose to grab a chest from.

Edit: Now this is odd. I just beat the boss, and it says I got every item and chest, but it still gave me an a rank instead of an s rank. Could there be another bug at work too?

Sounds good. For now I just fixed the bug and will leave it at that so I don't spoil anything (plus I like finding things myself). If you're playing through the editor, press F9 and set the value of the variable 303 to 50, this should do it for you. The item count originally works a bit different in the background. It is fixed now, but yeah, the whole thing was a bit messy.
I just tried that, and 50/48 items caused the chest code to not run, still leaving me with a rank of a. Perhaps the easiest method is to just redownload and then fix my chest count.

The good news is that it was me who ran into this, rather than someone less knowledgeable on editing since they would have probably had to replay the whole thing. If it comes down to it, I'll just take a closer look at everything. Tempted to just weaken the boss while at it since I've killed it enough times to say I've beaten it legit.

Edit: To be safe I redownloaded, but I also just tracked down the mirage temple common event just to be safe, and it is still set to hit 50. I think that might still be bugged for other people, but now that I have found the code itself it is easy enough for me to fix my version of the game.

Edit 2: Just got my s rank. I was also wrong, it is not glitched for anyone else I don't think (unless there are only 48 items, or if there is something I missed). You did mention it had a weird tally system so I'd say it is probably fine now.

Yeah, when I was reviewing the code before, it was actually off. But everything is fine now, I know for sure the following dungeon rank works fine, the last one should as well. I hope that's one of the last bigger things to fix >.<
Yeah that was rough lol. It also seems I actually am missing 2 items then so I'm going to have to do another run. At least I won't have to fight the boss anymore since I edited it to get my s rank regardless.

One item is probably a random misc one in a pot, and the other is probably what the archeologist wants.
