Build 20180223 uploaded!

A rather unexpected hotfix.

OK, this build fixes a bug that caused the DP counter to show garbage numbers at the start of a battle. While this doesn't break the fights, it's pretty annoying. This bug is caused by the "Preserve TP" flag on the VX Ace engine not handled properly. Why? The script package that handles the Battle UI doesn't handle TP (or in this case, DP) counter when the number is preserved between fights. So, this can cause the counter to freak out every time a battle starts and there's some DP in reserves. What this fix does is that it forces the DP value as integer.

Why am I releasing a hotfix for such a minor bug? There were complaints about it. I implemented a workaround so it doesn't take as much space. And I just learned where the bug was. So I said: "Why not? I was going to fix it anyway."

And so, here's the hotfix.

The setup file tried and failed to install the .NET Framework, which caused several other programs to stop working. It also keeps trying to restart itself. I've removed it from my computer and will now try if I can manually install the Framework and get things working again.

Did this happen to anybody else?

Also, since when does a VX ACE game need the .NET Framework anyway?

Sorry to hear that you had issues. I was not expecting this. There is a possibility that the OS that you are using may be blocked by the installer (check System Requirements). If it is supported, go ahead and install .NET Framework 4.6 manually.

Microsoft .NET Framework is used by the launcher, which adds additional capabilities (quick load, save manager and more). It is not required for the game.
I installed it manually, apparently the Framework had been installed incomplete, which is why the programs that were running with an older version of it stopped working (I tried to start some that I knew were using it to see if anything had broken). Manually installing it gave me the option to repair it, so now everything is back in working order.

It might be a better idea to link the download for the Framework instead of including it with the game, in case anybody else has those problems.

It was included for convinience.

Edited the description to include the download link and changed the system requirements to reflect both the game and the Framework's requirements.
Hey there! I've been following this project for a little while and I just wanted to say that I've been very impressed by your consistent dedication to your game. Keep up the good work, bro!
About how long does it take to complete the game?

Wow... I just noticed your comment (and your review, I'll comment on it on a later day). There is an option to use OpenGL so the game runs faster, but I can't guarantee that it will help.
