Mini-Games

I actually like bigger and more involved mini-games. Like Blitz-ball or chocobo racing.

FFVII's chocobo system is really awesome actually because it's this big compilation of mini-games fused into each other. You train chocobos by racing them, trying to grow them into high ranking individuals. Then you spend time breeding different colour/ranking chocobos with just the right types of weeds to get right results. With each colour you get a more capable chocobo, able to climb mountains, run over shallow water and finally able to speed through the deepest oceans (why none of them is able to fly? being birds and all..) All these abilities add to your means of world exploration.

[Poll] Do you think RM2K/3 will ever die off completely?

I'm gonna keep using rm2k/2k3 simply because I don't have time to properly learn anything new. that and I like the resolution.

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?

like wizardry :)

i don't think it's that unusual mix.

well the obvious problem is that enemy sprites overlap those tombstones that are meant to be on the foreground. It's not really a big issue to me as i think that battle backdrops are meant to give the general idea, more than being 100% accurate to the location and perspective.

it's up to you really. Otherwise it of course looks awesome.

edit, i like the battle sys as well

What Do You Wish You Were Playing Right Now?

Pong.

on PS1? I used to play demo of that with my brother. Had a blast. I've seen it on PSN and wondered if I should get it.....

Oh my. They really do clash. A lot.

Nemoj, I'm really liking your retro look. How are battles played out in this game?

What are your game completion habits?

I think people buy games to their personal storage thinking they'll some rainy day play through their backlog of games.

I know i sorta did this on Ps2-era. I bought many games even though i had not finished the ones i already had. A couple of years ago i had nowhere to store my games, dvd's and cd's, so i ended up selling most of them without ever really commiting much time on them. Wasted euros.

Now because of this, i only buy about 3 games a year these days. No dvd's (i only rent). But cd's are my weakness, i gotta have em :3

Also, i've noticed that more games i got to play, the less interested i really am of them. Always swapping to the next one when feeling even slightly bored.

I got some spare time today and yesterday, so I started my first project in 5 years :O Unfortunately my time has now ran out and I'll have to continue this some other day.. Here's the visual progress

Eh, I suppose they're fine then. Although I wish you'd have different tiles for the outer walls for hospital and parts of the ridge/wall. Like you have for that smaller building.
