What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?
I've clocked a couple of hours on Tales of Graces f now. I found myself suprisingly absorded into the game. Characters, even from this early on, feel quite likable actually and the world is just so colorful 0_0, even too much maybe?
Battle system is engaging with it's action-rpg system but fights honestly only last about 15 seconds average. Dunno if it's a good or bad thing, but at least it prevents fights from getting tedious.
I'm liking it so far, so... yay

author=sixeauthor=0range00well in the first half you get capra demon and its kind of a bummer but thats alright because undead burg/parish is great. blighttown is great. sens fortress is great. anor londo is greatauthor=sixehow so? I loved Dark Souls from start to finish. Although I hate the second half because of Tomb of The Giants and New Londo Ruins, but you know, that's the kind of hate Dark Souls is all about :P

and then after ornstein and smough you get the lordvessel and the game lets you warp everywhere and dark souls is all 'okay son play time is over' and i was super pumped for the 'elite four' but then i go to demon ruins and lost izalith and the game just stops trying with level design and makes me fight 'ceaseless' and 'centipede' and 'bed of stupid'
Ah, I see what you mean.. Gotta agree with you there. Although I think New Londo still had pretty interesting layout as well as Duke's archieves. I'm pretty pumped for the expansion coming soon..

So I didn't buy Tekken or DoA, but Tales of Graces f.. no idea where that came from. I've still yet to get the package from post but I'm a little worried about this game. It has got great reviews and all but it's been ages since I last played a jRPG, so I'm not holding my breath here..
I just finished Arkham City the other day. It was alright with all the new gadgets and freedom, but it didn't have the wow-factor Arkham Asylum had. Though that's propably cuz it wasn't new this time around.

Yea, I've been waiting for somekind of a maker for mobile platforms too. rm2k3/XP/VX on my phone would be a dream-come-true. I'd still like to make games for PC though, just while in a bus.

Hm, I'm a bit torn between doa5 and ttt2, I'd like to get one of em'. I've always been playing tekken since god-knows-when and that's what I'm a bit worried about. Tekken 6 became awfully samey very fast, ttt2 looks very much the same, apart from tag-feature of course. That's why doa might be a breath of fresh air..

Cool graphics, but character positioning is a bit funky with the backdrop. Like how some of them are standing on hills further in the distance. but ya, if it's work-in-progress it doesn't really matter..

I wasn't at GW during it's peak, but I did stay there as it slowly dimished. I just found out about saltw.net recently. I'll check that place as well.

Hello, I'm new here.. I believe, at least I don't remember ever registering here before.
My life used to center around rm2k and rm2k3 back in the days. I first started at Don Miguels board with a username of "Narlp" (if I remember correctly) and after those boards went down, I jumped to gamingw.net.
Now I haven't been active in these circles for many years, guess nostalgia brought me back as I started missing those days.
I got quite a lot experience with rm2k3 and rm2k, briefly checked XP. I don't know whether I have time to get back to those, but these days I've concentrated more on music and all-things-graphical so maybe I could contribute in those at least in some form. At the very least I'm interested in games you guys make :)
