The Cicatrix (Formerly Hero I: Ephren's Journey)

Yeah, never seen anything like this before.

The Cicatrix (Formerly Hero I: Ephren's Journey)

Whoa, didn't notice the beta came out. I thought I'd give it a shot, but the game just up and closes on me after selecting whether or not to view the intro. (That is, both choices kill the game, but saying no gives a "two days earlier..." before closing.)

Descension

Hey, I gave this a few playthroughs a while ago. Apart from the deaths, I had two problems of note:

1) The Knight class is pretty underpowered, since his Double Slash attack didn't seem to be any more useful than a regular attack, which left him without a means of easily dispatching enemies without taking damage.

2) The Skeleton Keys and key-needing doors aren't any good, in my opinion. The game already has other means of blocking off doors temporarily until you can encounter a lever/monster, and I had to quit twice because I was stuck behind a door with no key and trying to destroy it seemed like a waste of time.

I didn't like some of the music either, but that's more personal. The game has potential, though, and I'd enjoy seeing more content.

Carlsev Saga: Episode II

Hey, noticed a few problems with the download:
First, you'll want to mention that the game needs the expanded 2k RTP to run; not everybody has it, and the game gives a confusing "Install RTPe.exe" message if it's not there.
Second, the game folder was missing the harmony.dll file, which can just be copied over from another game folder.

I'll be playing now.

EDIT: and then it was missing the "Hit" file in the intro when Rei ordered the tank to fire.

Speak No Evil

Hey. I've really enjoyed the challenge the game has to offer (Though Jevon was a little ridiculous), but I keep running into game-breaking bugs that hamper my progress far more than ten snakes ever could. I just re-downloaded yesterday, so I'm pretty sure I have the newest version. So far, I've encountered the following:

-In the cutscene with Alejandro, the first time he closes his eyes the game gets stuck, probably in an infinitely-looping fashion. I fixed it by deleting something from his movement command, some sort of "hold position" command.
-After defeating the 45th enemy in the subway, Alex may be unable to move after being teleported to the pre-boss area depending on where he was when you defeated the last enemy. That could be fixed by making the teleport also change "terrain" to 2, but I couldn't find the event that does that.
-As soon as you gain control of the party in the hospital, the game spits out an error message regarding an "access violation" and crashes. I think this has something to do with the deactivation of the "hide all enemies" switch, but I don't know how to fix it.

I know it's a little late to be pointing out bugs, but I'd appreciate it if you could take a look.

Alter A.I.L.A. Genesis

It's a Christmas miracle.

Phantasia Remake

Okay, here's the whole story. At first, I thought it was odd that Max kept his 'Double Strike' after the Draco fight, so I thought that it was a skill type issue and decided I was right after seeing that Max's 'sword' command was designated as 'skill' rather than 'skill subset.' I went on to fix a bunch of what I perceived as skill type-related problems in the skill database, mostly related to nearly all skills being set as 'force' and the force skills set as 'weather,' which didn't make much sense to me since 'force' was set as a skill subset to activate only when HP critical and the 'spear' and other 'sword' subsets were unused.

Phantasia Remake

I have to say, this is terribly bug-ridden. It's hard to enjoy a game when you have to go into the database yourself and mess with skill types to make the battle system work correctly.
