Well, I think it looks pretty good.

Back to the grind!

I’m glad that you’re adopting the old stat boosting system that you used in Enelysion and found a better method in handling the whole Crysalis system. I like how the two games, although different in some ways, do carry similar traits over from one another.

And since you just re-reminded me about the subject - I just had to do this (yum). :D

Wow, what a way to start my week.

Oh wow, that’s great news! I was just thinking if you were going to ask janussenpre to help you out and apparently he did. Awesome news. ^^

Vol II Update

Yeah. You signed a no movement clause with us the moment that you came back / registered with us.

- YOU CANNOT LEAVE. EVER. IT’S IN THE CONTRACT!

Wow, what a way to start my week.

Laine, are you wearing…“eyeliner”???

Well, now.

Anyways, fantastic stuff, janussempre, really looks good. And yeah, yuna21, I wanna see a colorized version of her, too.

(Addit saying Tairngire sounded like a beer, lol. It actually means 'Land of Promise in Welsh).

I was thirsty. ;_;

Do you think that when Enelysion is done; bug-tested and played to death, should I put the game on other indie-gaming sites? Most of all, do I have what it takes to go... well, commercial? And make a success out of it?

Of course you should put it up on as many different indie game sites as you possibly can; the more exposure = the more downloads and new fans (not to mention some more lovely fan-art) that you’ll get. I think your games are as just as good as anybody else on here, so why not?

Yeah, if you do plan on going commercial someday (which I think you totally should) you’re going to have to replace all those commercial songs that you’re using and replace them and maybe even look or even hire a custom musician to do your music. I’m sure somebody out there will probably help you with that.

But for now – you stay here. Don’t you go wandering off now! *shakes*

(And yay – Patrick’s back! I was starting to miss the little guy towards the end of volume 1.)

I am RPGMaker royalty.

I guess anything is better than being vaporware.

I mean, I’m a bit disappointed but I totally understand where you’re coming from with this. You’ve been working on this for a long time now and I’m guessing that you want to move on to newer and better things instead of just staying with dinky ol’ Rm2k3 for the rest of your life. Besides, your artwork and spriting abilities are just too good enough to be used on something as archaic like this. You’re right; you have evolved into a higher being, and I’m proud of you for it, bud.

If I get a chance this weekend, I’ll give your demo a shot. No review, though, but I’ll be happy enough to give you some feedback if you want. It’s the least I can do for a fellow former #shump member. ^^

I eat my words.

And Vol I and II will be released as one game. This allows older players to just continue from their last save point ( Tranquil's Rest in the Ulaid Forest ) and prevents new players from jumping straight into Vol II and seeing a CRAPTON of spoilerific moments.

Why not at least provide the option of either playing from Vol. I to Vol. II in one straight sitting or just jump into Vol. II with a prerequisite setting of stats, gear and items? I only ask of this for those who have already played and finished the first volume and have either lost or misplaced their previous saved data or those who really don’t want to bother with playing the first volume again.

Anyways, I’m happy that Laine and co. are getting a second chance at life, but now I kinda feel a bit bad for Tristian and all her fans for now getting the shaft. Why can’t you just work on both?

I can't handle this roller coaster of emotions!

Neither can I.

Fight Club: Blackmoon Prophecy II Edition

I was just thinking, shouldn’t this be more bettered suited towards strictly other Final Fantasy fangames on here with such a viable presence in the community such as Final Fantasy Discovery or Final Fantasy VIII: Sleeping Lion Heart? If it was a character / monster from some other person’s game that has nothing to do with the whole Final Fantasy vibe - wouldn’t that clash a little bit too much with what's going on here? I mean, if I was the head honcho behind the whole thing, I’d probably just limit guest appearances to just other successful Final Fantasy fangames on here (and, of course, other characters from the first Final Fantasy Blackmoon Prophecy / the rest of the main series like before).

Anyways, what about Cyan (FF6), Yang (FF4), Zell (FF8), Amarant (FF9), and maybe Auron (FF10)? I’d think that these guys would cross interdimensional borders in order to lay a ass-whoopin’ on Zephyr and co. in the arena. Just not Jasmine. (She'd mop the floor with these losers anyway, lol.)
