*sees that at least three of Kentona’s games have been recently put on hiatus*

…Well, I’ll be damned. :(

Even though that you’ve put this on hiatus along with all your other independent projects (and, btw, I totally understand about it, coming from your situation and all), but you’re still gonna work on all your other collaborated projects like The Last King Of Hyrule and Super RMN World 2 whenever you get a chance, right...? Hopefully you don’t give up working on those, as I would love to see both of those games get completed someday.

Well, at least you didn’t officially flat-out cancel these games straight upright and just put them all on hiatus for now. At least that gives some minor hope that these games might get picked up again and finished off someday. And if Luchino with Enelysion has taught me anything is that miracles can happen with seemingly anybody using the right amount of persuasion and constant bickering. :)

Secret of Manarama

‘Cause we have total faith in you.

- Don’t let us dowwwwn!!!

(EDIT: Nuts.)

Secret of Manarama

…Yup. I think I found what I’m looking for to review in a game.

Now here’s hoping that you manage to release it on time and not pull an Aether Pulse.

Tristian: Lady of the Lion

author=Luchino
Like I'll open up the editor, do nothing for half an hour, become dispirited and close it down.

Welcome to my world (at least for some of the times)...

But yeah, no worries, Luchi! You just take all the time that you need to go play some games and refine even more of that wonderful art skill of yours and we’ll all be waiting for you to come back to this with open arms. Besides, everyone deserves a break once and a while, even such hard workers like you, so no worries. Just come back to this when you're feeling ready. :)

Tristian: Lady of the Lion

The status for Tristian: Lady Of The Lion was changed to Hiatus.

Hiatus.

Hiatus.

Poor Aarin… You took away his dignity before he even had the chance to. :(

RMN: Make My Score~<3

Well, I was excited...(until my date stood me up about two months ago…)

Now I just eat can spaghetti leftovers from the fridge…alone…using only but a spoon...

Adding in actual rpg components would have been a WAYYYY different breed of monster, so I don't really think it's fair to ask that of it, personally.

Yeah…you’re probably right. I don’t know if Renpy has the capability of doing something like that along those types of lines, as I’ve never used it before myself...one day, maybe, but it’s more of a “what if?” scenario to me more than a nitpick. Either way, meep.

Also, review is done, proofread and submitted. And, this is just a friendly reminder to everyone else around here - but don’t try to proofread something while eating a delicious, turkey sandwich in your hands! You’ll be at it for hours, both you and the sandwich.

April was a Fool

I finally ended up playing this last night for almost two whole hours…which is like a record for me when it comes to playing a visual novel, as I really don’t play them all that much besides the odd exception. I originally thought that I would just probably play it once and get one of the eleven endings and just call it quits, but I ended up getting Kent’s bad ending which left me completely unsatisfied that I wanted to go back and get a much happier ending and at least leave on a good note. And then I got it and I wanted MORE!!! I ended up going back and played this multiple times and have gotten around six of the endings thus far… I still need to do Blake and Erwin’s and get the other ending - but so far so good!

I’m actually really enjoying this game. The characters are incredibly well written and well-liked; I absolutely love the artwork and all the wacky facial expressions that they have; and even know May, the protagonist, is mostly a silent protagonist, those fearful, hilarious facial expressions in each of the scenes with her in it are just way too much and you can definitely relate to her that she really doesn’t want to be here and is just basically doing this for the money.

And Gunn is definitely my favorite character other than May herself in this game. Gunn just reminds me so much of myself: big guy, looks and acts a bit creepy, but really is just a softie at heart. Plus he’s a healer! There’s not too many games out there where the healer is a dude, so kudos!

I guess the only thing that I kinda felt was a bit of a missed opportunity here since the characters do have individual stats and classes was adding an RPG component to the game, like being able to buy healing items, weapons and armor, and have random battles with enemies with choices that effect the battle’s outcome based on certain circumstances, almost similar to Radical Dreamers. If this game had something like that, along with levelling up, and travelling through different terrains at will, then this game would have been perfect.

But, either way, this is still a very good game. I’ll definitely have a review posted up once I get the rest of the endings.

April was a Fool

I am slightly intrigued by this.
